"Make sure of that and tell me." He screamed.

I was facing his back because he was looking through papers on the desk with his phone in his other hand, pressed to his ear.

I sighed in relief. At least what I had in mind was wrong and all of sudden I felt stupid for thinking that.

He looked behind at me and smiled but I could feel that there is something behind this smile that he was trying to hide.

"So?" He turned around again and focused on the person talking on the phone. "For fuck's sake," he groaned and waited to know the answer of what he just said. "Call me when you know!"

He threw the phone on the desk in front of him and rubbed his face with his two hands, sighing inside of them.

"Do you want me to leave?" I softly said, nervously playing with my fingers.

"No." He breathed out and turned around, opening his arms to me so I could go and hug him.

I did so and closed my eyes, only feeling his arms around me. "Is everything okay?" I asked without looking at him.

"It will." He murmured. I wasn't sure if he wanted me to hear him or no which caused me not to answer him and stay quite in his arms. His arms tighten around me as if he didn't want to let go as if if he did, I will leave. I rubbed his back a little, trying to tell him I'm here and will always be.

He placed a kiss on my head and sighed. I was confused of the sudden change of mood but I wasn't sure if I should ask about it.

"I love you." His voice was so soft but so scared which, for once, made me care about it more then what he said.

"And I love you." I answered him. "What's wrong, Jackson? What happened?" I couldn't stop myself anymore.

"Uh," it's like he was looking for a lie to feed me so he wouldn't have to tell me the painful truth. I closed my eyes and just stood there in his arms waiting for his lie to follow. "I was just on the phone with someone that gets me all the news and he said that," he took a deep breath then let it out. It's probably not a lie. "He was just telling me why my Father and Jonathan are never home." Or maybe it is the lie.

I pulled away of the hug and looked up at him, asking him if there is anything I should know by the eye contact we were having.

"What?" He asked.

"Are you sure that's everything I should know?" I asked him.

"For now, yes." He looked away from me.

There is more and it is probably more painful than I think it is. I never saw Jackson so nervous, so afraid but why was the question. He is someone that not anything could make him have a second thought about and he has people around him that could get him any information he wants. What could make him nervous?

The first thought that crossed my mind was the thought that got my knees to shake, what if someone told Mister Mickelson about us? That actually explains everything well. He doesn't want to tell me and he called the one he was talking to to make sure if it is true.

"Don't overthink it babe, everything will be fine." He said pulling off the hug, looking down at me with the sweetest smile that I couldn't resist, I smiled back.

"So why were you looking for me!" He asked with a smirk.

"I wasn't." I answered.

"What are you doing in my room then." He chuckled. Oh I'm such an idiot.

"I just couldn't find you down there so I was looking for you," I started and he was still waiting for more so ai said "i wanted to make sure you were fine."
