I wake up to the rays of the bright sun, straining my eyes. I was thinking I'm home in Dolanstown. I get up to 'wait for my breakfast to come'. But...I'm still here in Galway. Ugh! I look around and listen to the singing birds. ''Morning!''. A familiar voice says. I look over to the stable that is opposite of mine. It's Bold Runner staring at freakily again. ''Hey''. I answer hoarsely. I'm very thirsty. I go to back of my stable and I take a drink out of the automatic drinker. It's very clean. I swallow down a fee fresh mouthfuls of the clean water. I walk back to the door of the stable. ''Good sleep?''. I ask Bold Runner. ''Yeah''. He says.

I had a chat with Bold Runner and Tough Kid, once she woke up. Sarah came with my morning feed. It was a hot beetpulp mash with oats and carrots. Delicious! ''Man! You really eat for a small horse!''. Bold Runner says surprised. ''I've got a big fuel tank''. I say while I stuff my face. After eating the hot mash, Sarah prepares and gathers all of her equipment for the journey home. She secures my travelling boots onto my legs, a light rug and a tail bandage. She clips my leather headcollar onto my head and she waits for Sean to prepare the horse truck. ''You know Destination S. This might be the last time we see each other''. Bold Runner says sadly. ''Yeah... I know... if not, it was nice meeting you, Bold Runner. Tough Kid''. I say sadly. ''Everest, my name is Everest''. Tough Kid says. ''My name is, Astro''. Bold Runner says. I smile at the two, teary eyed horses. ''Scooter. Call me Scooter''. I say walking away from them. ''We'll see you, Scooter... in our dreams!''. Astro calls out to me. I neigh to him and Everest. The two of them neigh back to me. I load up into the truck. Sarah ties a safety knot and she walks out of the truck. She closes the big, heavy door with the help of Sean. Before I know it, I'm driving away from the two best racing friends I have ever met. I start to feel lonely again. I then realise, Im on my way home. I won't be lonely. I stare out the open side-window of the truck. I see green hills, ancient stone walls, bright blue sky and the smell of the fresh air. We arrive onto the noisy main road. I just stare out of the window, staring into the sky. I let the cold breeze flow through my mane. I stare out the window for the rest of the two hour journey home.

I'm home! Sarah takes me out of the truck and she lets me look around. I take in the sweet scent of the bright flowers. I see the white walls of tue stables to my right. All the stables are empty. Everyone must be out grazing. I hear an instructor giving a child a dressage lesson in the big indoor arena to my left. And behind me, there's a girl going over a dressage test in the outdoor arena. I look ahead of me to be seeing Dolanstown House. It has concrete white walls. It is a big house. It has trees and flowers around it. The place is in good condition. Sarah leads me to the field. I hear all my friends neighing to me. I neigh back at them. Sarah opens the steel gate and unclips the leadrope from my headcollar. ''Go on''. She says. I gallop full speed down the field. I buck and I jump. It's like I'm with my mother again. Jumping around playfully like a yearling. Glic comes up to me at trot. She smiles to me. She comes closer and she gives me a hug. ''I missed you''. She says quietly. ''I missed you too, Glic''. I say back. Cara comes up to me and gives me a friendly hug. Kandy gives me a cheeky hello. Kandy goes back to annoying Cara. Muffin comes up and gives me hug along with Blacky. Sir, walks up to me and says well done to me. ''That's an improvement''. He says to me. I just smile shyly back. He walks back to Blacky and Muffin. I walk up to Glic. ''How was your experience in Galway?''. She asks. I tell her all about Everest and Astro. I tell her that the three of us have the same dream. I tell her about how I made a deal with Astro and I ditched him. I tell her about Everest too. I went to graze under the apple tree.

I grazed for the rest of the day. It was 6 o'clock when I was taken in. Sarah gave me a groom. She goes out for a ride on Sammy. I can see her doing dressage on Sammy. I see the way he moves. He has a very collected trot and he is on the bit. His feet are tracking up. He smoothly gives a nice transition into a collected canter. He starts doing a one-stride flying change down from A to X to C. He looked under-pressure. He done it perfectly though. He smoothly makes a transition to trot and at E he starts to do the Piaffe. He picks up legs as high as he could. He was swishing his tail, obeying Sarah's orders. She sat tall and light in the saddle. Her ear, shoulder, hip and heals were in a straight line. I was amused for the next hour. Sarah brings Sammy in and pampers him.

I'm given my evening feed. It's a hot mash again. Everyone is gobbling their food down. I lie down in the corner of the stable. I think about Everest and Astro. I'm going to help them to get to the Grand National with me. I don't know how, but I'll figure out something. I want to race with them... In my dream. I go to sleep. The darkness that surrounded me turned into Everest, Astro and I. We are flying over the terrifying hurdles of The Grand National together.
