That boy was interesting. Attractive too, but I can't be thinking these things. Cameron is still here to me. I'm not emotionally ready for another relationship.
"So, I was wondering if you would like to uh- um meet here tomorrow?" He squinted a little and put his free hand in his pocket. His lips formed into a thin line.
"Um, I-I have school..." I blurted out quickly. "Big chemistry test." I mumbled.
He frowned. "Tomorrow's saturday... you have class?" He asked.
"Right! Yeah the stress from this week has gotten to me, huh? Sorry." I
"If you don't want to go I guess it's fine. I just wanted to get to know you. You're a very nice person." He smiled. Damn, that smile.
My heart fluttered and I hesitated. "No! I really really want to! Tomorrow, around 1 o'clock?" I smiled.
"Yeah, great! Can we exchange numbers? Just incase, I mean." He asked.
"Here." I said handing him my phone as he handed me his. I added my contact with a smiley face at the end. We handed each other our phones back and I glanced at what he wrote. I smiled. It said: Logan (The guy from Starbucks). He chuckled and looked down.
"So, I'll see you here tomorrow... 1 o'clock." I said.
"Of course." He smiled. "I'll see you then. Bye." He waved as he walked away.
"Bye Logan." My stomach filled with butterflies and it made me smile like crazy. I swiveled around on my heels and lifted my gaze to the table where Danielle and Marley were- already staring at me with huge grins on their face. While I starting walking over, they whispered until I sat down.
"So, who's that hottie you were talking to?" Danielle asked, still grinning.
"Logan... he's really sweet." I smiled.
Marley looked at me, concerned. "Are you gonna jump into a relationship this quickly?" She asked. She knew Cameron just as well as I did. We were all great friends so I understand where she's coming from. "I'm not trying to bother but... isn't it a little soon? She asked.
"I guess. I just want to be friends. I'm not looking for a relationship right now obviously. He was I think though." I took a sip of my hot chocolate and took my gaze away from Marley and out the window. "I don't even care though. He's a friend." I think I made it clear since neither of them responded with anything.

"Hey! Hope, over here!" I heard when I walked into Starbucks. I looked up and saw Logan sitting at one of the tables by the back of the room. I walked over with a smile on my face and sat down across from him.
"Hey Logan." I smiled. There was a drink right in front of me.
"Oh, I ordered you a hot chocolate. I just guessed since you got that yesterday." He smiled.
"Yeah, that's exactly what I was going to order. Thanks so much." I flashed a smile and took a long sip from the warm mug.
"So, what school do you go to?" He asked, a concentrated look on his face.
"Eastwood High. You?" I asked, taking another sip of my drink.
"I know a couple of people who go there. Oh, um I just graduated last year. I'm on the road a lot with acting so I didn't really get the full school experience." He laughed shyly.
"Really? I knew you looked familiar from something..." I squinted, trying to think. "Percy Jackson?" I asked.
"Yeah!" He smiled.
"Don't worry, I''m not a crazy fangirl or anything." I giggled.
"Great, thats wonderful to hear." He took a sip of his drink.
"Yup." I said, popping the P. This was kind of awkward. We had nothing really to talk about.
"Twenty questions? So we can get to know each other better?" He asked.
"Of course." I smiled.
"Okay, how old are you?" He asked, setting his drink down.
"17. You?" I said.
"19." He said. "Where are you from?" He asked.
"Boston, Massachusetts." I smiled. "What's your favorite place in the world?"
"Paris, France." He shot back.
"Me too." I smiled and blushed a little.
He chuckled and moved his hand towards mine on the table. "Great minds think alike, you know."
I laughed and ran my fingers through my hair.
His hand touched mine and a tingly feeling went up my arm. It was nice. I couldn't help but smile.
