"Hey hope." They smirk.
For goodness sake, why was she here. She was dressed in a crop top an some skimpy shorts. "Leighton." I responded, keeping the door only cracked a little. She tried to peer over my shoulder and into the room, but I took a step to the left to block her.
"Can I help you?" I say.
"Actually, I was down the street with my friends. Then I saw some pictures online of you guys arriving and thought I should stop by and say hey." She added, sounding a little too friendly.
"I don't think it really matters. We both know you wouldn't just stop by to say 'Hey' based on what has happened." I said, giving her a look. I could hear the bathroom door open.
"Hey Logan!" She yelled.
"Babe? Where are you?" Before I knew it, Logan walked out wearing only a white towel around his waist and his hair was still wet. He came closer to the door and looked out over my head. "What the hell." He made eye contact with Leighton and then closed the door.
I turned around and looked up at him. He had a small frown on his face and some water was dripping down his face. His eyes were sparkling as usual. "Why the fuck was she here?" He asked, angry and confused.
"I- I don't know. She just showed up and I told her to leave." I answered. "She seemed kind of high." I added. She kept continuing to knock on the door and yelling. I locked it and both Logan and I went into the kitchen area. He grabbed his phone, which made me guess he was calling security.
"Hello. Yeah, there's someone disturbing my girlfriend and I. They're banging on the door and yelling and won't leave." He said, looking at me. He was still in only his towel, his hair dripping with water. "Yes. Okay. Thank you." He hung up and looked at me. "I'm sorry about that." He said, pulling my waist close to him. He kissed my forehead and smiled. "I don't know why she would just show up here. She knows where I live, but you know..."
"Shhh." I laughed. "It's okay. I'm just kind of worried about her. She seems kind of crazy." I said, looking at the door, which was still vibrating from her constantly knocking on it. "She seemed high or something. "
"Yeah, I'm not sure. She's a weird one." He added. The banging on the door stopped and we both sighed. "Why don't you go get ready," He suggested, kissing me on the lips after. "When you're done we can go out to eat."
"Alright, I'll go shower and change." I said, pecking his lips once again before walking away. After getting into the bathroom, I stripped down and got into the warm shower. I was in the middle of washing my hair when I heard the door open.
"Logan?" I asked, my voice echoing off the glass shower door.
"I have to finish getting ready." He said. I kept washing my hair, with my eyes closed. I could hear him turn the sink water on and off and picking up several bottles. "Maybe I should have waited to take a shower with you." He said. I could hear the smirk in his voice.
"Shut up." I laughed, rinsing the last of the shampoo out of my hair. "You wish."
"It is a pretty good view from here though." He said as I heard him start to brush his teeth. I wiped my eyes and could finally see. The glass door was hardly steamed up and I realized I could see straight through.
