Visitors and New Friends

Logan's POV

"...and that's the goal I have for this scene. You two showed amazing emotion and I loved it but I need a better connection." Mark, our director said while moving his arms around. I nodded my head and looked over at Lily. Her arms were crossed and she huffed her breath. She glanced at me and quickly looked away with a small frown.

"Okay? You both seem a little timid." He chuckled and took a small step back. "If there's any drama let me know...but we need to finish this scene soon. It's been hours since we started." his eyes looked down at his watch and then back up at both of us. "Lets get back to work."

"Oh come onnnnn..." Lily's voice trailed on for what seemed forever. "First you act all obsessed with me. Now that I start to show so- some feelings for you, you act all uninterested!" A tear escaped one of her eyes and another followed out of the other. I opened my mouth like I was about to say something but quickly closed it.

"See! Don't you understand why I acted like I did?! It's how I am... I don't like getting hurt, I'm never looking for a relationship. But not after I saw how much you cared about me, what I thought, every single thing I said, and even when I was so rude...you still cared. I fell for you." She finished with a whisper.

I walked up to her and placed my hand under her chin, lifting it up. We made eye contact and kept it for a while. "I cared because I fell for you. I cared about you because I saw you were hurting. You needed someone and so did I..." I leaned forward and kissed her softly. My lips disconnected and we made eye contact again.

"Cut!" Mark yelled and jogged straight up to us. "Perfect! That's exactly what I wanted!" he looked down at his watch. "It's only about 1:00 o'clock but you guys deserve the rest of the day off. Great job today." He patted my back and I returned a smile to him. My hands slipped into my pockets and I backed up, heading to my trailer.

"Wait!" I heard somebody yell. I sped up my walk since I could tell exactly who it was. They're footsteps became louder and more clear just as I was only a little bit away from the door. "Hey..." They called out.

My head turned and I checked to see who it was. "You know, I really don't want to talk to you. After what you did the other night, Lily, I'm just done." I huffed and looked at her and waited for an answer.

"I know what I did was horribly wrong. It wasnt appropriate because I know that you said thtat we're -" She started but I cut her off.

"All business. No relationship at all." I said firmly and stepped up while opening up my trailer door. I closed it behind me and turned around as I got inside.

"Hey!" someone yelled. I jumped and turned quicker than ever to see who it was. I haven't seen her in months.

"Maddie?!" I yelled. "God, how did you get here?!" I smiled as she walked up to me and wrapped my arms around her.

"I got a flight then drove a rental here. Just got my license, remember?" she laughed and pulled out of the hug. "How have you been? How's mom? Dad?" I asked quickly.

"Whoa, slow down there! They're all doing fine!" She answered and walked to the end of  my trailer. "Who's this?" She asked while holding up a picture of me and Hope."

"That's Hope, my girlfriend. I met her a little while before I left to go film..."

"Is she girlfriend material?" She asked with a smile. This is typical Maddie. She's the best sister I could ever have. We've always gotten along pretty well unlike how most siblings do. Maddie's loud, outgoing, spontaneous, and younger than me by a couple of years.

"The definition of the perfect girlfriend." I smiled wide and thought for a second. "I want you to meet her... I'm going to see her in a week or so. Maybe I'll tell her about you then, but wait until after I'm done filming this movie we can fly back together." I waited anxiously for an answer.

"Great idea!" She smiled and tapped her fingers on the wall.

"I guess you can stay at my apartment that the crew pays for. I have the couch in the living room that you can sleep on." I suggested and picked up my phone to check for messages. My eyes looked back up at her.

"Oh so I have to sleep on the couch, huh? Shouldn't you let your little sister sleep there?" She begged, batting her eyelashes. "I mean, I care about you so much that I payed for my own plane ticket and car and everything."

"Nope. I'm working every day. I need my sleep. You're lucky I have most of the day off today though," Grabbing my keys and phone, I started walking towards the door and Maddie followed. "Usually I'm here from 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM. It's as horrible as it sounds." I yawned and kept walking until we reached my car.

Maddie slipped into the passenger seat and turned up the radio right when we got in. 'Applause' by Lady Gaga was playing and she sang along.

"I live for the applause applause applause! I live for the applause-plause! Live for the applause- plause!" She shouted and let her hands fly in the air. The rest of the ride back to the apartment was constant singing along to the top 20 songs and quick breaks of catching up while a boring song was on. I was really really glad to have my sister here with me. I've missed her so much.

Hope's POV

I yawned as I stretched in my bed. I was practically drowning in the sunlight that was pouring through the window. Groaning and rolling out of bed was a struggle, but I made it out of bed and downstairs. My clock was the first thing I noticed. 7:00 Am. NO, I'm going to be late. I choose an outfit of leggings and a Hollister crew neck sweater. Slipping on my vans, then running into the bathroom and brushing my teeth and fixing my hair was all a mess. Wearing no makeup was a decision based on laziness and time so I grabbed my bag and drove off to school.

The bell rung right as I parked so I decided to take my time from there since it didn't matter anymore. My bag was sliding off of my shoulder a little more by every step as I neared the front door. My hand wrapped around the handle and pulled the door open. The people in the front office ignored me as usual. Anyone could walk into this school and they would never ever notice...it was pretty scary to think of it like that but it's true. The hallways were empty so all I could hear were my footsteps and the zippers of my bag echoing up and down the walls. One of the sets of doors that create a border of the hallways was closed and I got closer and closer. I reached for the handle but the door flew out and hit me. Falling square on my butt, I hear someone gasp and run over to me.

"I'm so sorry! I was running late and gosh...are you okay?" They asked, picking up my folders and books that slid out from the fall.

"Yeah, I'm fine..." I said rubbing my head and standing up.

"Again, I"m really sorry. Im Leann." she said, holding her hand out for me to take. I used it for balance and stood straight up. She had curly brown hair and tan skin.

"Hope." I smiled and brushed my sweater off. "I've never seen you here before. Are you new?" I asked.

"Yeah. Actually I'm late because I couldn't find my class." She brushed her hair behind her ear and fixed her bag strap.

"Oh, here," I looked at her schedule paper. "You have Mr.Marks first which is right down this hall." I said, pointing down the hall. "And second you have Mrs. Turner with me!" She's actually in this class right here." I pointed at the room behind me. "So I'll see you then." I smiled and continued my walk to first period.

"Thank you so much!" She replied. I waved back at her and smiled.
