Sleepover

I drove home from the airport and back to my house. Of course, 'Sweater Weather' came on the radio when I was driving. I quickly shut the radio off when it started to play since it reminded me of the other beach day with Logan. I finally got home and when I got inside, I ran to my mother and gave her a hug. I cried while she patted my back.

"I know, Hope. I know." She whispered. Mom always knew how to make me feel better. All throughout my life she's helped comfort me. From when dad left, to Cameron, and now with Logan gone. I went up to my room after a while and decided to get out of this depressed mood by inviting Marley and Danielle over.

hey, you guys want to come over?

I typed. Two responses came right through.

yes! i'll be over in 15 min. :)

Marley sent.

I'll be over soon :p

Danielle sent.

I smiled and tossed my phone down onto my bed. I changed into some comfortable lazy clothes and decided to go on twitter to kill some time. Soon enough, I heard the dorbell ring and opened the door to see Marley standing there. 

"How are you?" she asked with a concerned look on her face. Like I said before... this girl really knows me. She always knows when something's wrong. 

"Honestly?" I asked. "Horrible." But I think you guys will help me feel better." I said right as Daniele drove up in her car. She hopped out and waved at me. 

"Hope! I haven't seen you in forever." She hugged me. "Are you doing okay?" She asked.

"Well, hopefully you guys can make me feel better." I smiled and shut the door after they walked inside. 

"I know exactly how to cheer you up." Danielle said, with an evil grin on her face.

They both stayed the whole day and then decided to to  

"Oh...my.. god!" I burst out laughing.

"I can feel the abs coming in!" Marley shouted.

At this point, I was rolling on the floor laughing. Literally. I think I gained about two pounds also. Dani had a whole bunch of candy in her bag that she brought and we ate about 80% of it. We made milkshakes containing all of the candy too. And to be ironic... we even played the song while making them. 

"I think my stomach is about to pop." Dani groaned. 

I laughed. "That's what you get for bringing all of that candy, Dani!" 

"Shutup!" she said and hit my in the face with a pillow. 

"Ouch!" I screamed and grabbed another pillow. I slammed it on her face. 

"Hey!" She said. We both stood up and got into a huge pillow fight and halfway through, we noticed that Marley was crashed out on the floor. We immediately dropped the pillows and got some eyeliner from my vanity. Dani took one pencil and I took the other while I drew a unibrow lightly across her forehead. She started drawing a mustache and then Marley turned over on her side. Dani and I both dropped to the floor and pretended to be sleeping. Marley seemed to be down again so Danielle ran downstairs and into the kitchen. I followed her and she grabbed some ice out of the freezer. She ran back up stairs and we both tiptoed into my room. I closed the door behind me. Dani kneeled down on the floor next to where Marley was. She slipped the ice down her shirt and then waited for Marley to wake up.

"Hmm." Marley mumbled and rolled over. "HOLY CRAP." She screamed and shook her shirt to try and get the ice out. "What the hell did you guys do?!" She grunted and squinted at us. I bursted out laughing and so did Danielle. Marley groaned and then fell back asleep while I eventually stopped laughing.

I yawned and opened my eyes to see the sun shining through my window. I checked my phone to see a text from Logan.

Hey. I wanted to say good morning. Call me when you get this since we are in different time zones. I love you :)

I smiled at my phone and stepped over both the sleeping bodies of Danielle and Marley.  

I tapped Logan's contact on my phone and waited for an answer while walking downstairs.

"Hello?" A familiar voice said.

"Hey Lerman." I said 

"God, it's so nice to hear your voice, Hope." He said. "I miss you like crazy." 

"I miss so so much too. How's work so far?" I asked.

"Well, we haven't really done anything but do group readings." He said. "I'd rather talk about us than the movie though." He chuckled lightly. 

"Right." I laughed.

"So I talked to the director about how I'm on the other side of the country from my girlfriend." He started. "... and he said that he would allow me to let you visit a couple of times." He finished.

"Oh my gosh, that would be great!" I smiled. 

"I know! Just let me know when and I'll fly you over." I could hear him smiling through the phone. 

"Thanks Logan. I love you." I smiled. 

"I love you too. Well, I have to go... we are starting to actually film today!" He said excitedly.

"That's great! Good luck! Love you." I said, happily.

"Love you too! Bye." He said.

"Bye." I replied and pressed 'end call'. 

I turned around and saw Marley and Danielle leaning by my doorway.

"How is he?" Dani asked.

"Great... I miss him so much." I groaned.

"I know you do... I can see it in your eyes." Marley said and walked over to give me a hug. She pulled away and smiled.

"So... what do you say we make breakfast?!" I asked and clapped my hands together.

"We shall." Dani laughed and we all ran downstairs to start cooking.
