Just In Time

Joshua's POV:
Colleen sound horrible on the phone. I basically ran over to her apartment because I was honestly scared. I arrived at her apartment. I banged on the door and there was no answer. I started getting scared. I took the key she gave me and opened it and ran in.
"Colleen??" I screamed. I ran down the hall and saw her in her bathroom with a pill bottle in her hand.
"Colleen don't!!" I yelled and hit the bottle out of her hand. Pills went everywhere. She was standing there frozen sobbing. I grabbed her in my arms.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm stupid. I'm so sorry." She said. I hugged her tighter and ran my fingers through her hair.
"No baby don't be sorry. It's okay. I'm not mad okay. Just please never do it again. I can't lose you. You are the most important person in my life." I said.
"Don't lie Joshua." She said.
"I'm not lying. I would never lie to you." I said kissing her head. She pulled back and I wiped her tears away. She put her hands on her head and I saw little marks on her arms. I grabbed her arm and lifted up her sleeve and there was cuts all over. She looked at me scared. I lifted her up and put her on the counter. I kissed her cuts over and over.
"What are you doing?" She asked.
"Showing you that I love you no matter what you do or what happens." I said. She hugged me tight.
"Joshua thank you so much. I love you." She said.
"I love you too. Do you need anything?" I asked.
"I'm just tired. A lot happened today." She said. I picked her up and brought her to her bed. I tucked her in and kissed her cheek.
"Will you cuddle with me?" She asked sweetly.
"Of course." I said. I got in and pulled her close to me. She faced me and kissed me.
"Colleen promise me you'll never do this again." I said. She stared at me and tears came out her eyes as she hid her face in my chest.
"I don't know Joshua. It's hard." She said sobbing. I pulled her close to me.
"I know baby I know. I just don't want to lose you." I said.
"I'll try, for you." She said. I smiled and kissed her as she drifted off to sleep in my arms.
