-Day Of The Family Gathering-

Colleen's POV:
I walked out of the car waiting for Joshua.
"Hey it'll be fine okay?" Joshua told me.
"Okay." I whispered. I grabbed his hand. I gripped it tight and I think he noticed. I was just so nervous. I didn't want anything to go wrong. I wanted to be one big happy family. He kissed my hand and gave me a sweet smile.
"I love you. Everything will go great." He said.
"I love you too." I said. We walked up to the door and my mom answered. We looked at each other for a minute and then she pulled me into a hug. A tight hug. A hug that meant she cared.
"I'm sorry." I said to my parents. My dad hugged me.
"We both made mistakes but we are still family. Family will always forgive each other." My dad said. I pulled back and wiped some tears away from my eyes. I grabbed Joshua's hand.
"Mom, Dad, this is Joshua, my boyfriend." I said smiling. Joshua shook there hands and said hi politely. He was so sweet to everyone. I walked inside and we were the first ones there. I wasn't so nervous now. My mom and I talked. I asked her how she had been and if she was okay now. She said yes. She asked me the same questions. I answered with basically the same answers.
"So that's Joshua? He is super cute." My mom said.
"I know. I don't think I could get any better than him." I said laughing.
"Talkin about me?" Joshua asked laughing.
"Maybeeee." I said. We heard the doorbell rig and Christopher was here. I rushed and hugged him. He hugged me back. I've missed him so much. He had 3 kids. One was 4. Her name was Bailey. He then had a 3 year old named Jacob. Lastly, he had a newborn who's name was Parker.
"Bailey, Jacob, this is Auntie Panties, she was there when you guys were born." Jess said, Christopher's wife. We settled on Auntie Panties because it fit me. Well at least back then. Bailey hugged me. She was such a cute little girl. Jacob came and hugged me too.
"Guys this is my boyfriend, Joshua." I said.
"Wook! I have a wightsaber!" Jacob said. He couldn't pronounce his l's. It was cute.
"Woah!" Joshua said getting down on his level. They walked in and we all talked for awhile.
"I've missed this." I said.
"Me too." Chris said. Rachel soon came and Trent too. We all had a fun family time, like old times. Joshua loved everyone so much. And everyone loved him. We all were out side eating and drinking.
"A toast to bring back the Ballingers, and adding a Evans." Rachel said. We all laughed and clinked our glasses together. Tonight Joshua and I were just going to stay here.

Today was the best day I have ever had in my life. I am happier than I could ever be. My family makes me so happy. I have never been so happy when hanging out with my family. It was 3 am and I was just getting in bed. Joshua was already in bed half asleep. I got in and scooted close to him.
"Thank you Joshua." I said yawning.
"For what?" He asked not opening his eyes.
"For being there for me. Supporting me in whatever I do. Being my best friend. Loving me when nobody else would. Being sweet to me and my family and encouraging me to be better." I said. He opened his eyes as a tear came out of his eye. He slammed his lips into mine.
"I love you more than words can explain." He said digging his head in my neck.
"I love you too." I said. He pulled his head back and kissed my forehead. We soon drifted off to sleep.
