Joshua's POV:
After a long day in the snow Colleen and I were cuddling by the fire because she was freezing. She was drinking her hot coco. Tonight is New Years and I'm excited. Colleen scooted closet to me. She isn't used to the cold. I wrapped her in my blanket even though I was cold. She opened her blanket and pulled me in with her.
"I love you." She said.
"I love you so much." I said. I kissed her and hugged her tight. It was already 8 pm. We already ate dinner. Colleen got up and helped my mom get some more snacks ready for tonight. I went ahead and put on the New Years show on.
It was finally 11:58. We have all been signing and talking and just having a great time dancing to the live music. I've never seen Colleen happier. That made me happy. There was 10 seconds and we all started to count down.
"10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!! Happy New Year!" We all yelled. I looked at Colleen and kissed her. I felt like we were in high school musical. I kissed her again and she looked up at me with her perfect brown eyes.
"Happy New Year. New Year, New Me." She said smiling. I hugged her tight. I'm glad she is ready for a change.
