Joshua's POV:
Today was New Years Eve. I was so excited. I have hadn't New Years kiss before but it was in high school when I was in like 11th grade. Also, Colleen kinda opened up to my family about her family and her depression. Nobody thought differently of her which made her happy. Very happy. I looked at my phone and it was 9am I rolled back over and wrapped my arms around Colleen and kissed her head. She curled up in a ball and groaned.
"I don't wanna wake up." She said. I laughed and got up myself. I looked at outside and there was snow all over the ground. It was currently snowing right now. There has to be at least 7 inches of snow.
"Colleen it's snowing!" I said excited. I hadn't seen snow in such a long time, I love the snow. She jumped up and ran over to me.
"It's so pretty." She said in awed. I smiled at her cuteness.
"But then again I'm a Cali girl so we will see how this goes." She said laughing. I laughed and hugged her tight. I could never let go of her. She probably finds it annoying but I just love her so much. She giggled and kissed me.
"I'm gonna take a shower." I said. She smiled and kissed me.
"Have fun." She said and winked.
"Scandalous." I said fake gasping. She laughed as I walked out to the bathroom.

Colleen's POV:
I walked downstairs and surprisingly only Erin Joshua's sister was there.
"Where is everyone?" I asked.
"Well Erin and Jeremy had a late night if ya know what I mean." She said laughing and nudging my shoulder.
"My mom is the tub I think and my dad is, well I don't know probably like shoveling the driveway." She said laughing. I laughed back.
"Want some coffee." She asked handing me a mug.
"Yeah sure!" I said and took the mug.
"Where's Joshua?" She asked.
"Taking a shower." I said. I looked outside again.
"Do you like the snow?" She asked.
"I don't really know. I haven't really experienced snow since I was about 12." I said. She smiled and drank her coffee. We sat down on the couch and she grabbed my hands and looked at my nails.
"Did you do these yourself?" She asked.
"Yeah. This is what happens when you get bored." I said laughing. She laughed and looked down at them again.
"Will you do mine?" She asked looking up at me.
"Right now?" I asked. She looked around.
"Why not?" She said smiling.
"Okay. Go get me some colors and I'll see what magic I can do." I said laughing. She smiled and got up to go get some nail polish. She came back with a few colors. She was in college right now and was telling me about her time in college and stuff.
"Any boys?" I asked smiling. Right before she could answer Joshua walked down the stairs.
"Y'all are cute." He said.
"Can you leave." Erin said laughing.
"Rude!" Joshua said laughing. He grabbed a banana and walked back upstairs sticking his tongue out at us. We laughed and I turned back towards her.
"So?" I said laughing.
"I mean there kinda is. But I don't know." She said.
"Are you guys a thing?" I asked.
"Not really." She said.
"Well does he like you? And do you like him?" I said as I finished up her nails.
"Yes to both of those questions." She said.
"Then make a move girl!" I said laughing.
"I know I haven't been and I should be. What do I say?" she asked.
"The most generic answer I can give but be your self. Don't try to hard and don't make things to obvious." I said. She smiled and hugged me.
"Thanks Colleen." She said.
"No problem." I said. Joshua walked back down the stairs plugging his ears.
"Can I come down now?" He asked. I laughed and said yes.
"Let's go in the snow!" Joshua yelled. Now we have to find out if his Cali girl aka me will like snow.
