Before Night Falls

Chapter 13

He pulled away as we heard a loud bang.An angry Leo emerge, running towards us with in blink of an eye.Roger let go of my waist, looking at Leo.As Leo was right in front of him, I ran towards Leo and he pull me into his arms.

"Are you okay? " he look at my face with worried

"No" Leo turned to look at Roger as I hid behind Leo

"How dare you touch her! " Leo yelled, clenching his hands

"The girl is being seductive and I can't help it " he chuckled, winked at me

Oh that bastard! I did that because I thought I can use my eyes and make him suffer but he can read minds so it didn't work.Leo step forward, run towards Roger.

Before Leo could punch his face, he vanished into a black smoke.The smoke disappeared.A smirk plastered on my face.Such a coward.

A thick smoke appear upon my face, Roger's face emerge among the black smoke.He approach me, taking my hand into his and he kissed my knuckles.He leaned down, I felt my cheek touches his and make me squirm.

"Next time, I suggested you to do it in bed.Just you and me " he said in a seductive tone,winked at me before he vanished into the thin air

"Damn coward demon! " yelled Leo as he approach me

"He kissed you! " his eyes widen

"I know. I want to make him look into my eyes so I can kill him. I want to avoid him but he's much stronger than me "

"I can't blocked him either. He's stronger than I've expected " Leo said, release a sigh

"What do you mean by that?" I raised an eyebrow

"I'll explain it to you later. We need to get home before more bad things happens " he grabbed my wrist and made our way to the parking lot

As we get out from his car, I see Greg in front of the main door, crossed his arms against his chest.His eyes were totally on me,giving me a black look.His gaze now were at Leo.

As the both of us approach him, standing in front of him with our heads down.

"I sense demon all around you " Greg look at me, sending glares to Leo

"I can explain " said Leo

"I entrusted you to protect her but you didn't! The demon even touch her " Greg grabs the collar of Leo's shirt

"Dad,stop it! " I yelled, pulling Greg's hands of from Leo

I accidentally look into his eyes and he let go of Leo.

"Cyrinna! Don't! " I stopped looking into Greg's eyes

What have I done? I could kill my own father! I look at my palms,my legs trembling in fear.Leo grabbed my shoulders as I almost fell.

"I'll take you to your room " said Leo,leaving Greg outside

"I've almost kill him.I've even imagined I was holding a sword and almost buried it into his chest! " I cried as I sat on the edge of the bed

Leo pull me into his arms, stroking my hair.

"He's still alive don't worry " I cried in his arms

"You're tired. You need to have a rest " stroking my hair again

"You promised that you'll tell me about you "I said,looking at him

He gulped nervously.I held his hands, hoping that he'll tell me about him.

"Tell me, please " I plead with my puppy eyes

"I'm a vampire " I stopped rubbing his hands with my fingers

What.. impossible. But Roger said Leo tried to block him from getting into my mind.And Leo also can read my mind..I pushed him away, shocked with his words

He tricked me. Maybe he's here because he wants to use me.I put my trust on him. I can't believe this. I blink my eyes a few times,hoping that this was just a stupid dream.But it didn't work.It's reality, Leo is a vampire..

He approach me with worried eyes.

"Please Cyrinna.. it's not what you think " I took a step back away from him

I've been betrayed.. by the person that I put my whole trust on.Maybe he's the one who trapped me so Roger can controlled my mind and used me to kill anyone.

"No Cyrinna! I won't do such thing to you " he said in a soft tone,hoping for me to calm down I guess

He's reading my mind..I stepped a few steps back and begin to run out of the room away from him as I was about to run downstairs, I bumped into someone.
