Before Night Falls

Chapter 23

It's Saturday and I decided to have a walk with Naughtie at the park nearby.I freshen up myself and went downstairs.I made my way to the kitchen,finding a bottle of orange juice in the fridge.Then,Leo came with his bed hair which makes him looked cute.

"Morning" he sat on the chair

I turned to face him "Morning " I replied,gulping the orange juice

"I'm gonna take Naughtie to the park after this,wanna come?" I asked

"I have something to handle and make sure you bring a dagger along" he said,his words makes me laugh

Naughtie came and made its way towards me.I pick him up,stroking its head.

"Seriously Leo? A dagger?" I glance at Naughtie and back to Leo

"Just in case" he shrugged

"I have Naughtie with me.There's nothing to worry about" I smiled

After having a light breakfast,I took Naughtie for a walk at the park.While I was walking with Naughtie, I realize his not here by my side.My eyes roaming to search Naughtie but I couldn't find him.

It's a demon.Maybe it went somewhere first then he'll come back,I guess.I continue to walk and enjoy the green view upon me and the wind that greeted my face.Then,I felt an arm around my waist and a warm air next to my ear.

"Alone,sweetheart? " a husky voice startled me,made me jumped a bit

I turned my face to the side and found Roger smiling at me.He chuckled as he see my face.Our faces was just inches away.I pushed his jaw a bit so he can face to the other side.Woah..that was close.

"What are you doing here?" I gave him a grumpy face

He look at me again and a small smile tugged on his lips.

"I saw you were walking alone so I thought you might need a company" he leaned back with his hand still around my waist

"So,are you feeling better now?" He asked with concerned

This is a new thing.He cared about me? Woah

"Um.. yeah" we started to walk

"I guess there's no need for me to wear a shirt then" he wink,made me blushed

"Roger!" I gave a light slap on his chest,I look away

"See..you love to see me in that way" he chuckled

We found a bench.Roger let go of his hand and sat.As I was about to sit, Roger put his other hand to his side,giving me a sly look.I folded my arms to my chest,raising an eyebrow.

"Nu'uh.You're not going to sit there" he said,looking up at me

"Where do I sit then?" I asked

He patted his lap "Here" he stated

"You're gotta be kidding me.There's peoples here" my eyes widen

I hope he's just joking.

"That's not a joke,baby" he patted his lap again

I swallowed my saliva.On his lap?Is it necessary? This guy is killing me.

"You wanna me to help you to sit?" He gave me that sly look again,I shook my head and sit on his lap with hesitate

"Good girl" he whispered,wrapping his hands around my waist,pulling me closer to him as he rested his chin on my shoulder

"I love being with you like this" his words made me turn to face him and I found out that his eyes were close

What's wrong with this guy? He controlled my mind to kill the people who hurts me before and now he treats me like I'm his lost lover.I don't get it.What if he..No way..I shook my head a bit and I caught those piercing blue eyes on me.

"Don't you like being with me?" He asked

"I..um..it's hard for me to answer that" I bit my lower lip

"I hope you're mine" he gave a kiss on my shoulder

What was that? Is this some sort of dream or what? He's probably joking.He doesn't mean it.I guess..

"You're the first girl who caught my eyes" he whispered

Haha..that's not funny.First? Don't his world have many hot chics which more better than me?

"Roger.." I place my hands on his hands which were on around my waist,he hummed in reply

"Let's have a walk" I hope he'll let go off me before he said many weird things

"Okay.You want us holding hands or I gave you a piggy back?" He asked with a sweet smile tugged on his lips

"What about we just walk?" I draw circles with my finger on the back of his hand
