Before Night Falls

Chapter 24

He let go off me, I stand up and he stand besides me,taking my hand into his,holding my hand firmly.He looked at me,giving me a warm smile.

"Come on,I want to be with you" he stated,he pulled me closer till our shoulder touch against each other

I've never been this close with any guy before except Leo and him.It's making my heart race everytime our skin touch, I tried to calm myself and act cool but I can't.There's something inside me tell that he's not bad at all and I should not be afraid being with him.Like he's totally harmless.

We began to walk.It was quite awkward because there's silence along our walk.I try to say something but as my lips parted there's not even a word came out.He put his arm around my shoulder,leaning closer to give a peck on my cheek.

"Do you know who sent Leo?" I shook my head in reply,a smirk plastered on his face

"Is it a vampire?" I asked

"Yes but he's a powerful one.A prince" he replied in a mocking tone

"Why? I don't even know him"

"You've met him before" his expression changed,I felt there's guilt in his voice

"Forget about that.Do you know why your eyes colour changes to violet?" I shook my head again, a heavy sigh escape his lips

"They surely does keep everything from you" he look at me with concerned

"What do you mean by everything?" I asked

Yes.Greg surely does keep secrets from me especially about my eyes.But hearing to Roger's words it seems like there's more.Why did they didn't tell me?

"In order to protect you"

"Protect me?From what?"

"Peoples.You'll found out soon" he gave a small smile

"Why are you telling me this?" It's in a sudden,he's being kind to me

"You need to know but they didn't want to tell so it's better for you to know about the secrets they kept" he explained

I lost in my thoughts thinking about the secrets that was kept from me.What else? And why did they keep almost everything from me?Maybe Roger can give me the answers especially about my eyes.If I ask Greg,he won't explain much.

"Um..Roger.." I tilted my head so our eyes met,I felt those dark blue eyes has been replace by these blue piercing eyes,there's something.. a feeling that I've never felt when I'm with him..I'm confused

"Can't take those eyes from me,aren't you?" Roger grinned,making my cheeks tinted in red

"I just want to ask a question" I looked away

"If you're talking with me,look at me" he stated,pulling my face to face him-his eyes

I shut my eyes,avoiding his eyes.I felt nervous as I met his eyes and I don't know why.He asked me to look at him but I can't.My heart keep racing.I've never been this extremely shy before.It's unusual.

"Why do you close those eyes?" He squeeze my hand a bit but then I felt his hands were no longer holding mine,making my eyes flutter open

He disappeared.Where did he go?Is he upset with me.Well,I didn't mean to it's just..erghh.

"R-Roger?"I called his name out

But there's nothing.There's no sign of him.In a sudden I felt a pair of hands on my the both side of my hip, a tall and muscular body leaning against my back,a warm breath touches my ear making me gasped.

"You prefer to talk with me in this way,eh?" He grinned against my neck

"Bad girl" he started to nibble my ear

Then,there's a woman about 40 years old walking in our direction.I gave her a sweet smile while my hands keep pushing Roger's hands on my hips off.He noticed the old woman presence but he didn't let his hands off me.He makes it even worst by wrapping his hands around my waist,his chin rested on my shoulder,giving a smile to the lady too.

I parted the corner of my lips "Stop it Roger.She's watching us" I said in a low tone

He buried his face on my shoulder,letting out a small laugh.He tilt his head and whisper "It's not like we're doing anything wrong" he pressed his lips on my jaw

"Bad boy..don't eat her here!" The lady chuckled,her words made my cheeks heated

"You're boyfriend? " the lady asked

"He's..um"

"I am" Roger replied,I turned my head to the side so I can look at his face,giving him a you're-fucking-kidding-me look

He ignore me and his eyes were on the lady.

"Well,you both should go somewhere else because here's not a good place for you two" the lady gave us a wink and left

Oh no..here it comes.I squeeze my eyes shut as I felt a hot air against my neck.

"Somewhere,eh? What about the bed.Would you want to be there?" He bite my skin but not that hard,making me squirm in his arms

"See you tonight,baby" he pressed his warm lips on my jaw before he left
