Games, Practices, and New Friends

Addison's POV

Today I have my very first cheer practice and I am so excited. I hope that I will make a lot of new friends on the cheer squad. Since we have moved here, the only friends that I have made are Ethan and Grayson. I mean, I have talked to a few people, but I wouldn't really consider us to be 'friends'. I grabbed my book bag with all of my homework in it and headed out to the bus stop. 

Madison's POV

Both Addi and I have our very first practices since we have made the teams. I am both excited and nervous. I hope that I will make new friends on the team. Since Addi and I have moved here, I have only made a few 'friends', none of which are girls. I mean, Ethan and Grayson are my friends, but I don't know if you can technically call your boyfriend your friend. Then, I rushed out the door because I have already heard Addi head out to the bus stop.

Grayson's POV

When I got to the bus stop, Madi and Addi were already standing there. They were both laughing so hard that Madi fell on the ground. "Hey guys! What's so funny?" I asked casually because I didn't want to sound to eager to get into their business. "Inside joke." Addi said between laughs. "Oh ok." I said laughing at how hard they were laughing. Then the bus came.

Ethan's POV

When the bus came, I got on eager to get to school. Tonight is Gray and I's first lacrosse game. We love playing lacrosse because right when it is over, it is immediately football season.  (If you haven't guessed already, Gray and I also play football.) When we got to school, I had this gut feeling: I have to make Addi my girlfriend. Well, everyone was always telling me to follow my gut, so that is what I am going to do. Although, I can't ask her now, I have to think of an elaborate way to do this without sounding cheesy. 

Grayson's POV

When Ethan told me that he wanted to ask out Addison, I was proud of him for finally wanting to find a girlfriend. Then, I thought to myself: What will Madi think about this? Twins dating twins? No. No one does that. But then I thought that I would let him do what he wants and everything will fall into place in the end. 

*After School*

Addison's POV

It is now time for my cheer leading practice and I am very excited. When I am in my cheer leading practice, Madi will be in her volleyball practice. All of our practices will more than likely be on the same days. The cheerleaders will more than likely be cheer leading for the football team. I doubt that we will be cheer leading for the volleyball players, but who knows, people may surprise you.

Madison's POV

It is now time for my volleyball practice while Addi is at cheer leading practice. I am super excited to see who else made the volleyball team. Now that I think about it, Addi forcing me to try out for the volleyball team was not such a bad idea after all.

Addison's POV

"GO BLUE, BLACK, AND WHITE! WE FIGHT REAL HARD, MAKE YOU SHAKE IN THE KNEES, WE ARE THE PANTHERS AND WE DO AS WE PLEASE!!!" I yelled as I moved my hands around in a circular motion as instructed. This is the first cheer that we have learned and we mostly will be working on this cheer for the whole cheer practice.

Madison's POV

"MINE!" I yelled as I called the ball. For the first practice, we are mainly working on our bumps, sets, and spikes. Next practice, we are going to do a scrimmage game. I am very excited for the scrimmage game. There are several people here who I recognize from some of my classes. For example, Karleigh from my science class. I can't wait to tell Addi about this practice. I also can't wait to hear how Addi's practice is going.

Ethan's POV

When I arrived at my first lacrosse game, my heart was pounding a million miles per hour. When it was my turn to go on the field to play, I was very nervous, but I played as hard as I could. When I came to sit back down on the bench, it was Grayson's turn to go out and play.

Grayson's POV

It was my turn to go out and play on the lacrosse field. I have to admit, I was pretty nervous. What if I messed up? Everyone would be laughing at me and it would be very embarrassing. I over came those fears and did great. I played my very hardest and that's what matters most.

Madison's POV

When we got home, Addi and I shared how our practices went and they both went great! I can't wait for our next practices.
