Double Date

Grayson's Point of View

When I woke up this morning, I had an urge to ask Madi out on a date. I have no idea why, but I am very nervous about this. I mean, we have been on a date before, but this time, I just feel different. At that moment, I did what I always do in a situation like this, talk it out with my best friend. "ETHAAANNN!!!" I yelled. I honestly don't know why I yelled, I mean he is in the room right next to mine, but oh well. "Yeah?" He came into my room rubbing his eyes like he had just gotten up. "Oh, sorry did I wake you up?" I asked kind of feeling bad that I had just woken him up. "No, don't worry about it. What do you need?" "Well, I want to ask Madi on a date, but I just don't know if I should or not." "What are you talking about, Gray? Of course you should! Why wouldn't you?" "Well, I just don't know, Eth. I just feel ugh, I just don't know!"

Ethan's Point of View 

At that moment, I knew just what to do, "hey, would it make you feel any better if I went on that date with you?" He gave me the weirdest look and said, "like as a third wheel?" He asked sounding kind of annoyed. I just laughed and said, "no, silly. Like as a double date." He still looked confused. "It's only a double date if you have for people, duh!" "Oh my gosh, Gray! Are you dumb? I mean that I will ask Addi on a date and we will go together like a double date!" I said getting annoyed at Grayson. I mean, sometimes he can be so blonde. His face lit up, "ohhhh! Now I get it." He said finally getting the point of this whole speech. "So when will we ask them?" "Today. We can go over to their house and ask them out. We can go later today after lunch." He explained to me. I could tell that he had this whole thing all planed out. "Sounds good to me." I said as I was leaving his room.

Madison's Point of View 

At about 2:00, there was a knock at our door. "I'LL GET IT!" I yelled, so no one else would get the door. I know that it is very childish of me, but I still like to be the first one to get the door. When Addi and I were little, we used to race to the door to see who would get to it first. I wonder who is at the door, we weren't expecting anyone today. Or at least I don't think that we were expecting anyone. When I reached the door, I opened it to see two very familiar faces. "Hey, Ethan, Grayson! I haven't seen you two in a while!" I said so happy to see them. "Oh, nothing. We are just here to see  you and Addi. We have to ask you guys something." "Oh. Ok. ADDI COME DOWN HERE QUICK!!" I yelled to her up the stairs. "What is it?" She asked me, but then her face lit up when she saw that Ethan and Grayson were at the door. 

"Well, Gray and I were wondering if you two would want to go on a double date with us." Ethan told us. I looked at Addi and then looked back at Ethan and Grayson. "Yes, of course we would." Addi and I said at the same time. Ethan and Grayson just laughed at us, but I know that they relate to us because I've seen them have twin moments. "Ok. We'll pick you up at seven." They said at the same time. See, I told you.

Addison's Point of View 

I am so excited for our date tonight! Even though it's in like five hours, I am still trying to decide what to wear. This is going to be a special night. I have never been on a date that Madi has been on, so I am a little bit nervous. I have no idea why, though. We are best friends and have been doing things together for our whole life, so I should have nothing to worry about, right? Wrong. I have everything to worry about. My hair, my outfit, my makeup, everything. "MAAADIII!!!" I yelled because I needed to talk to her because that's what I always do when I am stressed out, talk to my best friend about my problems. If we are all being completely honest here, sometimes I feel like she is the only person in the world who gets me. 

"Yeah?" She asked I could tell that she was kind of worried. "I am just really worried about the date tonight." "Adds, what is there to worry about. If you are worried about impressing Ethan, just think that it's just a group of best friends going out for dinner. Also, if Ethan doesn't like you for you, there is plenty of other guys out there. What am I talking about? Of course Ethan likes you or else he wouldn't have even asked you out on this date. Plus, I'll be there with you. Just do me one favor and not stress yourself out about this too much." I just looked at her for a second to try and take in all of this information that she just gave me in. Then, I nodded. 

"You know what would be fun?" She asked me. "What!?" I asked her very excited to hear what her answer might be. "We should get ready together." "Well duh, we were going to do that anyway." I said and she just laughed. "I'll come back in and get you when it is ready to go." She said as she walked out of my room. 

After she gave me that pep talk, I am super excited to go on that double date. I just laid down for a while and took a nap until Madi came in and told me that it was time for our date.
