Madison's Point of View
When I woke up this morning, it was like nothing had happened. Everything was completely normal. I had no idea what happened yesterday, but I know that I definitely don't want it to happen again. I even feel completely fine. I just hope that I can get out of the hospital today. Hospital beds are very uncomfortable, I want to go back to my own bed at home. I wonder where Addi is, I wonder how she took all of this. I know that if I was in her shoes right now, I wouldn't be taking this well at all.
Addison's Point of View
I hope that Madi can come home today. I miss her around the house. I have no idea how I have been able to survive without her here. I am not the one who has been taking it the hardest, though. Our mom has been torn apart over this. She has been here in the hospital the whole time that Madi has. She has been awake that whole time, too. That means that she hasn't gotten any sleep and she has been bawling her eyes out every second of everyday. I am just glad that it wasn't the both of us who were in the hospital because I know for a fact that she wouldn't be able to handle that.
Doctor's Point of View
I am about to go in Madison Smith's room and check in on her. Yesterday, something strange was going on with her, but I have no idea what it was. I hope that I will be able to say that she can come home today, but I just don't know considering what has happened with her over these past few days. I can't imagine what her family has gone through with this process.
Addison's Point of View
The doctor came into our room and said that she had good news. That made an instant smile on my face. "I have some good news for the Smith family." The doctor started, "Ms. Smith is getting better and she will be able to come home today if all goes well." As soon as she said that, I couldn't help but cheer. I am so excited to have my sister back at home, I've really missed her. In fact, I don't believe that we have ever been apart this long. My mom's face lit up as soon as the doctor gave her the good news. It is certainly good to have my mom back. The happy Mom that constantly has a smile on her face. That's the Mom that I enjoy having around all of the time.
Madison's Point of View
Addi came walking into my room. "Hey Mad Dog." She said as she made her way to my bed and sat on the corner of it. I chuckled at the nickname that she used to call me when we were little. I was Mad Dog and she was Add Dog. She used to be Add Cat, so our nicknames wouldn't be too much alike, but Add Cat just didn't click as much as Add Dog did. "Hey, what's up Add Cat?" I said jokingly. "I miss our old nicknames." She said laughing. "Anyway," she continued, "I have good news. You get to come home today!" She said excitingly. "Really!?" I asked shocked. I couldn't believe it! I finially get to go home after what seems like a very long time. In reality though, it has only been three days. "Wait. Is this April Fools Day? Because if it is, what kind of sick joke is thi-" she cut me off, "No Mads, this is not a joke. You are seriously going home today!" Yes! I am so excited to be going home.
