Reunited

Madison's Point of View 

When I woke up the next morning, I was actually surprised to wake up in my own bed. Seeing that I was in fact, actually in my own bed, and I wasn't just dreaming, I felt great. Just then, I remembered what we did last night, went out for ice cream. Just the thought of that made me smile. After I was at least half of the way woke up, I managed to walk down the stairs without falling down them because I had fell asleep. (Trust me, that happens sometimes.) When I got downstairs, my mom and Addi were already awake making breakfast. When Addi saw me, she smiled. "Hi honey, how was your sleep last night?" My mom asked me as I walked over to our kitchen island and got a plate. "Great!" I exclaimed as I scooped some scrambled eggs on my plate and then sitting next to Addi.

I turned to Addi and said, "so how are you?" I asked as we were best friends who hadn't seen each other in a while. Although we are best friends, but we see each other every day. At least every day until a few days ago. Well, even then, we did see each other every day because Addi went to see me in the hospital. I mean, I knew she would because I don't remember one day that we hadn't seen each other 24/7. 

"I'm great!" Addi said obviously very excited for me to be home. "What about you?" She asked me. "Same!" I said with a chuckle. After breakfast, Addi and I got ready for today's big adventure. We had told our mom that we will go to the mall, but we all know that one of Madi and Addi's adventures will turn in to much more than what it was intended to be. Don't get me wrong, we will definitely still go to the mall, but we will also do more things before its all said and done. 

Addi turned to me and said, "ready to go?" "Yup. Ready as I'll ever be!" I said excited. I honestly don't remember how long it has been since we have had one of our Madi and Addi adventures. I mean, we used to go on them all the time when we were little. Obviously we had to have our mom drive us around, but what we did that day was all of our ideas. Of course our mom still comes with us because we can't drive. It's not that bad because our mom is pretty cool. (Not trying to brag or anything.)

When we entered the garage, our mom was already in the car waiting for us. "You girls ready to go?" Our mom asked smiling as neither Addi or I called shot gun (surprisingly), she just sat next to me in the back.  Guess that Addi really missed me while I was in the hospital even though she was there with me. I guess that makes sense, though considering that we hardly even talked for the couple of days that I was actually in the hospital.

"So where do you girls wanna go for one of your crazy adventures." Our mom asked us. Oh my gosh. Our mom can be pretty embarrassing sometimes, oh what am I saying? She is very embarrassing all of the time, but what can I say? She is my mom and I love her all of the time no matter how embarrassing she is. "Umm...I don't know... How about... THE MALL!!!" I laughed. When I realized that Addi and I had just said that at the same time, I laughed even harder.

When we got to the mall, we went to practically all of the stores. We didn't buy that much though, considering that Addi and I had just spent all of our money on the last Madi and Addi adventure. Even though that the last Madi and Addi adventure was awhile ago, usually the only time that we get any type of money is for Christmas or our birthday. However, we do get an allowance, but that's not hardly enough considering that I want to buy everything in every store. 

After the mall, Mom, Addi, and I just drove around eating the frozen yogurt that we got from the food court in the mall. Man, how I miss these little adventures.

I am glad that I was able to find an extra minute to update this chapter. Sorry that these updates haven't really been about anything, I just haven't been able to come up with anything to write about lately.
