Heather (Mom's) Point of View

When I had got the news that Madi and Addi's father had gotten his old job back, I was shocked. I didn't know if he still wanted them to move back in with him or not. Then, my theory that they did not have to move back home was verified and I wanted to jump up and down in celebration. Although, I didn't know how to tell the kids. I had found out a week ago, but I just didn't know how to tell them. Now here we are, they are planning to pack their things and move out today, and somehow I have to come up with some way to tell them. This plan is totally going to backfire.

Madison's Point of View

Ugh. That's right. We are moving out today. "Girls, can you come down here for a second? I have something that I need to tell you." Mom called from downstairs. "Coming!" my sister and I called back at the same time. As I was heading downstairs, my heart was pounding a million miles an hour. "Girls," my mom began once Addi and I got downstairs. "Sorry for the late notice,but..." she trailed off and I was trying to guess what she was about to say. Do we not have to move? I hope but that's probably not the case. Are you moving back with us? I hope, but again, that's probably not the case. Then, I stopped trying to guess and waited for her to tell us what she was talking about. After what felt like an eternity, she finally told us: "You don't have to move back home to Oklahoma with your dad." "Yes!" Addi and I both exclaimed in unison. This day couldn't get any better.

Addison's Point of View

I was so happy that we don't have to move in with our dad anymore. Don't get me wrong, I love my dad to death, but he is just not the most pleasant person that you will ever meet. Also, I don't want to leave all of my friends that I have made over the past few months of moving here. Then, I just realized: what if Ethan only asked me out on a date because we were going to move? I mean, he must have felt sorry for me, right? No, no, he would never do that, right? Get yourself together, Addison. I have too do the only thing that comes to my mind at the moment: ask Madi for advice. "Madi!" I called downstairs to her. She was still downstairs helping Mom bake cookies or some desert for our family gathering this afternoon. "What?!" she calls back upstairs to me. "You got a sec?" "Ya, sure hold on." she tells me before she starts to head upstairs. Then, she arrives at my room, out of breath and says, "What's up?" "Ok. So do you know how Ethan asked me out on a date last night?" "Yes, of course I do. What about it?" "Well, I was wondering if you thought that he only did that just because we were going to be moving." "No, of course not. Why on Earth would he do that?" "No reason, just wondering." and with that, she left my room. I guess she's right, why would he ever do that? Plus, he is not the kind of person that would do that.

Ethan's Point of View

I was so glad that Addison didn't have to move. I had such a great time last night that I think that I am going to ask her to be my girlfriend. When I arrived at her doorstep, my heart was beating a million miles an hour. Then, I knocked on her door. Luckily, Madison answered it. I didn't want it to be Addison right away because that would make my heart beat even faster. I went in the house to meet Addison. I don't try to stall or anything like that because personally, I feel that people who do that are silly. "Addison," I began, "I had a lot of fun last night and since you don't have to move anymore, I was wondering if you would like to be my girlfriend." please say yes, please say yes, I thought just then, she opened her mouth and said: "Yes, I would love to be your girlfriend." yes! I thought. I am so happy.
