A New Beginning

Madison's POV

"Girls, come down stairs." My mom called to my sister and I from upstairs. "Uggh." I moaned as I rolled out of my bed, that was very comfy, I may add. I walked out of my room at the same time Addi did and I came face to face with her. Our rooms are right across the hall from each other (in case you were wondering why we became face to face). We laughed and went downstairs. "Ya, Mom?" I asked when I saw her at the kitchen table. "I have some bad news..." She said and my heart dropped. I hate hearing bad news. Even when someone says that they have bad news, in my mind I am thinking about all of the possibilities that it could be. "I'm sorry for the late notice, I just found out late last night." She explained again. Oh, how I hate the suspense. "We are moving..." She said and my heard dropped even lower than it did before. "What?!" Addi and I said in unison. "I'm sorry, girls, but there is nothing that I can do. It is for my job." She said sounding depressed. I looked at Addison and she was pale, I'm sure that I was pale too. My mom's job is a job where she travels a lot, so we never stay in one place for too long. We tell all of our friends that when we first meet them, so when we say that we are moving, they won't be too shocked. I mean, they should have seen it coming, we warned them. We usually never have boyfriends either. It's not that we aren't allowed too, it's just that we don't want to get too attached to a guy. If we do get too attached to a guy, when we move we will be heartbroken that we will never get to see him again.

Addison's POV

"Where are we moving to this time?" I asked trying to sound cheerful so my mom didn't feel too guilty for not telling us sooner. Madi gave me the look like 'are you really happy about this?'. I gave her the look back like, 'no, I am just trying to make Mom feel better'. Then she gave me the look like 'oh'.  I looked at Mom and she looked at us confused and we all just laughed. "Anyways..." Mom said with a laugh. "We are moving to New Jersey." She said. "What?! New Jersey is like a whole day away." Madison said depressed. I don't think that there is anything that she hates more than having to ride in the car for a long time. "When are we leaving?" I asked. "Tomorrow." My mom began to say. "You will have to pack today." Mom finished. "Ok." I said before getting breakfast. "What to have, what to have?" I said quietly to myself and apparently, my mom heard me and laughed. "You should have the last blueberry muffin." She said with a laugh. "I CALL THE CHOCOLATE ONE!!" Madison screamed. "Ok, ok, calm down. You know that don't like the chocolate chip ones. I won't take it." Geez she is pretty crazy when it comes to food. "And you know that I don't like the blueberry one, so I won't eat that one." I smiled and my mom said, "You guys look so much alike, yet you are so different." We laughed.

Heather (Mom's) POV

I truly do feel bad that I am making the twins move again for the fourth time this month. Luckily, this is the last time that we will have to move because I got a new job. "Oh guys, I almost forgot to tell you," I began. "Tell us what?!" The twins asked eagerly in unison. "This is the last time that we will have to move because I got a new job that we have to stay in New Jersey for." I explained to them and their faces lit up and they came up to me and gave me a big hug. That made me smile. I am glad that they are happy again. Or at least for a few hours. There is nothing happening in a few hours, but it will hit them that we still have to move. 

Addison's POV

I went up to my room and I had to text all of my friends that I was moving and wouldn't be there for school this year. It is close to the end of summer break and I am very sad about that. However, I am excited to meet new friends that I will hopefully get to keep at my new school since we won't be moving again. I mean, when I am older, probably, but now hopefully not. I am glad that we are moving. I am glad for a new beginning.
