The Volleyball Game

Madison's Point of View

Today after school, I have a volleyball game at a small town about 45 minutes from here. I am very excited for it and I am pretty confident that we will win. We have never faced this team before, but I have faith in our team, the Blue Jays. I hope that school today goes by fast because I am so excited for the game today! I am pretty sure that Addi will be going to the game too. Well, I mean that I hope that she will be going, considering that she is my sister and best friend. 

Addison's Point of View

Today is one of Madi's volleyball games and I am very excited to go to it. Although, I haven't told her yet that I was going, but I am sure that she has assumed that I will be. Cameron is going to drive Ethan, Grayson, and I to the game. If you haven't already guessed, she will be staying at the game too. 

*At School*

When I got to school, I noticed that something was different, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. I tried to ask everyone if they felt that something was different or if it was just me who felt this way. As it turns out, of course it is just me who feels like there is something different going on at this school. This always happens to me.

Grayson's Point of  View

At school, it felt like something bad was going to happen today. I had absolutely no idea what it was, but I knew that it was going to be something bad. Last time I had this feeling, Ethan jumped off of his bed and broke his collar bone. See, I can see the future. 

*At lunch*

During lunch, I went up to where the volleyball girls (with the exception of Madi because she was sitting with us like always) were sitting. "Good luck tonight, girls!" I told them as I was making my way to our usual table in my usual seat. "Hey, do any of you guys feel like something unusual is happening today?" Asked Addi. "Oh my gosh! That's exactly the same way that I have been feeling ever since I walked through the school doors this morning." I could absolutely not believe that I was not the only one that was feeling this strange instinct. For a second there, I thought that I was going crazy. 

*Skip the rest of school to where they are at home*

Madison's Point of View 

Oh. My. Gosh. I cannot believe that my volleyball game is just in a couple more hours. I am so excited! I am pretty sure that Addi is going because Gray texted me that he was going to pick me up at 5:30 for the game tonight. I sent back a confused emoji and he realized that he was texting the wrong person. Then he responded, oh sorry. That was supposed to be for Addi. After I read that, I just started cracking up laughing. I have absolutely no idea why I found that so funny, but I did. Now, I have to go back to school to get on the bus that is taking the whole team to our game tonight. I just can't wait! 

*At the game*

We are finally at the game and I am so excited to start playing. When I got on the court, we had the fist serve. I was in the front row because I was the setter then, the other team spiked it. All I could see was black.

Ethan's Point of View

"Oh my gosh!" Addison said with a tear rolling down her face. I stood up, "it's going to be ok." I reassured her. "You promise?" I nodded my head and said, "I promise." Great. Just great. Now I have to make sure that I keep my promise. How am I supposed to do that? How can I possibly be sure that she will be ok? Now I am second guessing myself big time.

     Hey guys sorry that I haven't been updating for a while. I have been pretty busy with school stuff lately, but I promise to try to update more frequently.
