Madison's Point of View
When I finally arrived at my house, I could see the smile instantly grow on my sister's face. As soon as she saw me, I could tell that she was ecstatic to see me. I couldn't help, but smile. "Welcome home, sis!" She said excitedly welcoming me back home from a few days in the hospital.
When I went back up to my room, I had a very good surprise waiting for me. Ethan and Grayson popped out from behind my bed. "Ahhh!!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs, "What are you two doing here!?" "Ya, what are you doing here and how did you guys get in?" Addi asked. "Wait, so you didn't know about this either?" "Nope."
"We came in through the window." Grayson said. "Wasn't the window locked?" I asked. "Ya, but I asked your mom for a key a few days ago." "In that case, why didn't you just ask for a key for the front door?" "Good question." Ethan said with a chuckle. Just then, our mom came into the room, "what are you guys doing in here?" She asked all of us. "Good question." Ethan, Grayson, Addi, and I all said at the same time. Mom just laughed. "Why on Earth would you ever give these two goofballs a key to my window of all things? I mean, we do have front door you know." Mom laughed again. "That is also a good question." She said with a laugh.
Geez, we are a bunch of crazy people if you ask me.
Heather (Madi and Addi's Mom)'s Point of View
I am glad to see that all of the kids are happy and that nothing has changed since Madi has been in the hospital. I mean, not that I thought that anything would be different, but you know, a mom's got to worry, right? Anyway, I am planning on taking the kids out for ice cream because you know, why not?
"Kids, do you guys want to go out for ice cream?" I yelled up the stairs. Almost instantly, I heard what sounded like a heard of elephants running down the stairs. "So I'm taking that as a yes?" I ask with a chuckle. "No, we all just came running down the stairs to tell you that we don't want to go out for ice cream." Addi said sarcastically. (Well, at least I thought that it was sarcasm. Teenagers these days, they are so hard to read.)
"Really?" I asked just to make sure that my assumption was right. (As I said before, teenagers are hard to read.) "No, Mom, not really. Why on Earth would we all come down here just to tell you that we didn't want any ice cream?" "Well, I thought that you were just kidding, but I had to be sure." "Right..." Addi replied as if she didn't believe me. Why would I lie to my own daughter? Oh well, teenagers...
When we arrived at the ice cream store, I let the kids get what ever they wanted because you know, why not? Then I got what I wanted and then I payed the cashier. We ate our ice creams at the little tables inside the shop.
Madison's Point of View
When we were all done eating our ice cream, we had to take the Dolans home. After that we went home and got settled down for the night. (Showers, changed clothes, etc.)
This was the perfect ending to the perfect day.
Author's Note:
Hey, sorry I haven't updated this story in a while. I have been having a lot of random tests at school this week and I have had to study for them like crazy. I hope that you guys understand. My birthday is this week too, so I don't know what I am going to be able to do about that. I will try to update more, though. I have gained a lot of readers lately, thanks for that! Remember: as always, stay awesome!
