Doubling Dolan (A Dolan Twin Fanfiction)

School

Madi's Point of View 

Today is my first day back to school since the 'incident'. I have to be honest, I am pretty nervous. I don't actually don't know why. I mean, I have been going to school with these people for a few months now and I think that they have accepted me for who I am. While I was in the hospital, Addi still went to school, so I think that it will be fine because sometimes people think that I'm her and hopefully they won't be able to tell the difference.

I just hope that Addi can't tell that I am upset and nervous about my first day back to school. If she can, then she will keep asking and asking me what's wrong. Then, I'll be to embarrassed to tell her the real reason why, so I will just end up telling her a lie. Obviously, she will know that it was a lie and demand to know the actual story and won't quit asking me until I tell her it. Trust me, that's how it goes every time and it's pretty annoying, but I put up with it because without her, I don't know where I would be.

Addi's Point of View

I can't wait to go to school today! Geez... That's something that I never thought I would hear myself say. Ever. Anyway, the reason why I am so excited to go to school is because Madi will be there. I have barely been able to survive school these past couple of days while she was in the hospital. I am also excited to be able to have the squad all back together to be honest. I mean, don't get me wrong, Ethan and Grayson are great and all, but I just feel like a part of me is missing without my other half always by my side. 

Enough with all of this depressing stuff, let's look on the bright side of things. I walk out of my room to go downstairs and have breakfast. I am pretty excited to hear how Madi is feeling towards her first day back. I mean, if I was her, I would probably be very scared, but wouldn't act like it on the outside. I would act just as if nothing was going on because if I didn't, that would ruin my confident image. Well, I mean, it probably would considering that these people barely know us. 

*At School*

Madi's Point of View

Surprisingly, Addi haven't brought up anything about me being nurvous about my first day back to school since my 'incident'. Also, once I walked through the double doors at the school, I feel just fine, almost like I have been going here everyday and was never in the hospital at all. So, as it turns out, I was worried for no reason at all, just like always. When I approached my locker, Grayson was standing there. "Well, hello beautiful." He said to me I laughed and said, "hey, Gray." With a chuckle. I put my books in my locker and got what I needed for my first hour, science. 

As I entered the science room, I remember the first day that Addi and I came here. The teachers got all mad because they had us in the same class twice in a row, they thought that we were playing a prank on them or something like that. They were even screaming and yelling until we told them that we were twins. I smiled at the memory. "Hey, Madi! What are you laughing about?" Ethan said as he approached my desk. "Oh nothing, I just remembered the first day that Addi and I came here."

"What about it?" "The first day of school when the teachers got mad because they thought that they had the same person twice, but we are just twins." "I would learn to get used to that if I was you." He said. "Oh yeah? And why is that?" I asked him kind of already knowing the answer, but wanting him to confirm it anyway. "Every time on the first day of school, the teachers always get surprised that Gray and I are twins. Like, they like freak out and everything. I mean it's like they have never seen twins before."

I laughed and said, "that happens like every time Addi and I go out in public." "#relatable!" Ethan said in his best impression of a girl. I just rolled my eyes and smiled. "Ok class take your seats and open your books to page 125. Also, get out your notebooks because we will be taking notes on this lesson." My science teacher, Mrs. Green said.

*At lunch*

Madi's Point of View 

When I left my fourth class, it was finally time for lunch and guess who was at my locker again? Awe he's so sweet! "Hey, Gray." I said walking toward him. I opened my locker and put my books in there. Afterwards, I walked to lunch with Grayson, holding hands. When we sat down, we smiled. The squad is finally back together. Lunch was great. Actually, I would probably consider it one of the best times that I have ever had at a school lunch. We all talked for what felt like hours and we caught up on a few things. After lunch, we all went to our next class on a high note. This was a great day.

*After School*

Addi's Point of View

After school, neither Madi or I had any homework, so we do what we normally do, have one of our twin talks. These are the kind of talks that our mom tries to get into. When we were little, we used to call them girl talks, so that's how she managed to get in, saying that she is a girl, so she gets to be involved with it. However, when we got older, we found out a way for her not to get in, to call it a twin talk. She wouldn't have the excuse that she is a twin because she is not. If she was, we would just say that you would have to have your twin present to be able to participate, but that's beside the point. 

After our twin talk, we had to get ready for dinner, so we washed our hands and helped our mom cook dinner. We were having lasagna tonight and that is one of my favorite foods, so I was very happy. After dinner, we got ready for bed and I went in my room to read my Twitter page to see how many new followers I had. I only had two, but that's ok. Each one is very important to me, I am very thankful each and every one of them.
