Chapter 20 -

Soon i was back at the agency fit and well and was training hard with Ben. We were dong extra training sessions to make sure that i was up to speed with everything and to make sure that i was ready to take out Sam. We were planning on taking him out in three days. I was crapping my pants as no one had ever tried to pull this kinda thing off before, i mean who tries to kill their boss? People have thought about it and probably dreamed about doing it, but were they actually going to end their existence in three days? Unlikely. I was currently in the gym with Ben going over kicks and attacks while Lucy lounged across the floor pointing out any errors that i had. I couldn't afford any and was thankful that Lucy was there to point them out.

"Have more swing in your kicks." She called out boredly as i landed another hot on Ben. I grunted in response and focused on hitting harder and soon it paid off as i tackled Ben to the ground quicker than last time. I laughed as he seemed stunned and rolled off him and onto the floor.

"You were definitely a minx in your past life." Ben muttered and i heard Lucy chuckle from behind. I sat up and looked at Lucy.

"Do you think that i am ready?"

"Yeah. just remember to really put effort into the strike for the full effect. It will also ensure that the suspect is taken down quicker."

"Gotcha." I heaved myself of the floor and grabbed my water form bag and took a long drink.

"I am going to hold a meeting tonight." I puffed out and they both groaned.

"Why?" They moaned in unison. It was comical as their facial expressions were also the same.

"As i need to go over the plans and make sure that everyone knows what they are doing. I don't want anyone to get hurt because of me." I sighed and folded myself onto the floor.

"No one is going to get hurt Alex as we have gone over the plan hundreds of times! The plan is simple and flawless." Ben said getting up and starting to put the mats away.

"How do you know?" I snapped a little too harshly. Lucy sighed and stood up and looked straight at me.

"Because we have gone over the plans many times and everyone knows what to do and we are all ready so there is no need to stress." She said soothingly and it made me feel better.

"Okay, but we will meet the night before so we can be ready for sure." I said sternly and Lucy smiled.

"Of course. We will need to meet the night before." Lucy replied and got up off the floor.

"where are you going?" I asked.

"To sort out your love life." What?

"My love life?" I asked confused.

"Yes as Dean has been trying to reach you since he heard that you got shot and he wants to see you and i have made sure that he hasn't come into contact with you as it will raise suspicion. i am going to go to him personally and sort it out." he seemed pleased with herself but i wasn't.
