Chapter 8 -

I ran into my apartment and grabbed a duffel bag from underneath the bed. I raced to my wardrobe and grabbed a load of clothes and stuffed them in. I wasn't gonna stay in here while everyone lied to my face. I knew it wouldn't be long before Sam and my so called mother tracked me here. I ran into the bathroom and grabbed a load of supplies and did the same in the kitchen. I ran back to my bedroom and got another duffel bag which I placed all my weapons in. Then I ran for life to my car and sped off in time to see Sam pull into the parking lot where I had just left. I looked back in the mirror and he did not look happy, he soon had the car turned around and was hot on my trail. No way was he going to catch up with me, I pushed down harder on the pedal making my car go faster, but Sam did the same. Every sudden turn that I took, he did too. It was getting on my nerves. I tried to turn again, but he mirrored me and turned the same corners as me. I gritted my teeth in frustration and pushed my car even faster which was at least over 150 mph. I turned onto the highway and sped through the honking cars towards New York. It was going to be a long chase but I didn't care, I was going to New York to my so-called-parents to confront them. They knew what I was, but they had turned a blind eye for years. Was there anyone on this planet that I could trust? No, was the answer. I jumped as my phone buzzed in my pocket. I slowed a little pulling the phone out of my pocket. I checked the caller ID. Unknown number. I answered and put it on speaker so I could have both hands on the wheel.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Alex! Pull over!" It was Sam. Damn, I should have known as I had refused to pick up any of the other calls.

"NO!" I yelled. I shook my head and weaved through more traffic. I had to get away from them.

"Alex! Just pull over! We need to talk about this!" He demanded. I pushed my foot down harder making the car to over 200mph.

"NO! What is there to talk about Sam? You lied to me all my life about my parents! How can I trust you?" I blinked several times clearing my vision from tears. I took the next exit heading for New York. Sam seemed to guess my plan.

"Alex, you can't hurt them! They raised you, you won't do it. I won't let you." He seemed determined to stopping me. Good luck with that!

"What makes you think that I won't do it? I've killed before." I laughed an emotionless laugh.

"This is different Alex and you know it! They love you and so do we." I laughed another cold laugh.

"If you loved me that much, you would have not lied to me all these years." I span round another corner hoping to lose him. No such luck.

"I am really sorry for lying to you Alex. I really am, just pull over so we can talk about this." He seemed desperate, but I wasn't giving up yet. I ignored him and turned another bend with him right behind me.

"Alex?" He seemed worried. I softened a bit, he worried about me. It soon went away when I remembered all the lies.

"No." I said in a final and I heard Sam sigh and whisper to someone.

"I don't want to have to do this to you Alex."

"Do what?" I wondered. I then heard a gun fire and I froze. I shook myself mentally and looked in the mirror to find Dean aiming a gun at my car! Sam looked at me sadly.
