Inhumane

Chapter 10

We searched all the stores, food court, bathrooms. Yet no sign of him.

Where could he be?

Me and Segi look inside every store we pass by looking calm and collected when really we are both panicking on the inside. Segi and I both get out of a store the same time with a disappointed expression on our faces.

"By that look I guess you didn't find him " I say as I grab his hand and continue walking

"I can sense him but for reason I'm not able to track him. " he says with a confused look on his face

He smells like one of the fragrances from Victoria secret, someone must've sprayed some on him by accident but he does smell quite nice though.

"Actually in fact I'm having trouble smelling things right now. " Segi says as he scratches his head in confusion

It must be because of the perfume! It makes perfect sense, the perfume must've blocked up his senses of smell.

"Hey maybe when we were in the store some perfume got sprayed on you and blocked up your senses of smell. That's why you can't smell or track him. " I say

"If that's true then how the bloody hell are we going to find him? I've seen him like this before. Something has caught his attention and he's looking for it. He'll carelessly expose himself and that will bring us problems! "

What he says is true. If Yo-kun does or did something that can expose himself we will all be in serious trouble. Worse I'll be sent back to that hell hole..

I shiver at the thought. Going back there is the last thing  I ever want. There's too many horrible memories there that I can't even count.

"Don't say that! I'll make sure that doesn't happen! Wait, what do you mean you seen him like this before? " I ask confused

"Yo may have the best nose back home but that nostril of his can bring  him trouble. Usually when he has to be tested for finding something with his nose, say a shoe, he ends up finding a rotten tooth from a dead victim the cleaning staff forgot to pick up instead. He usually says the scent caught his attention and just had to get it. He would get punished but he didn't really care. He's really an idiot. " Segi says with frustration

I wonder what he's looking for, what's caught his attention so much?

I look at Segi and he has a worried expression on his face

He must really care about him too.

As we continue walking, out of no where Segi stumbled on my foot and we both fall to the ground.

"Gah! " Segi says gritting his teeth

"Is it your leg? Do you wanna sit down? " I ask worried

It's not good for him to continue walking like this. Especially with his leg.

"Aha sorry about that love, but no don't worry about me, injuries like this just take longer to heal. Cmon lets keep looking. " Segi says as I help him up to his feet again.

"You sure? " I ask

Before he can answer there was loud bang and crashing sound and a woman screaming down at
Auntie Anne's that's not far from us.

Without thinking I grab Segi's hand and ran toward Auntie Anne's where a crowd of people is forming.

It must be Yo-kun I'm sure of it!

There was so many people we had to push our way through and once we were at the front of the crowd, I see Auntie Anne's trashed, the machines were smashed, pretzels on the ground, two female employees scared out of their minds. One of them had their arm covered in blood.
The scene just left me shock like the rest of the crowd of people.
