I watch Izumi play with little toy cars
With Segi as I crush one of his little toys just simply out of boredom.
Maddie just ate breakfast and went right off to sleep . Sort of boring without her honestly.

"Um. Yo I think Izumi just ate one of his Hot Wheels."  Segi says concerned and I shrug." He'll be fine. Stuff like this can't choke him."

"Maddie wouldn't think like that. Knowing her she'd probably perform a Heimlich maneuver or something even though he's not even choking." He chuckles at the thought and I roll my eyes at the stupidity of the things Maddie would do.

"She thinks he's normal but he's not. No matter how hard she tries to think to herself that he has a chance of never using his abilities and being able to live a normal life she's wrong. Even she can't even go on with her life without her abilities what would make Izumi so different?" I snap

"You're taking this too seriously. She'll eventually accept the fact that he'll never have a normal life, she just needs time."

"Gi! Gi! Giiiiii!" Izumi shouts,looking at Segi pointing at horns and pulls them.
I grin at the discomfort crossing Segi's face.
Izumi began to tug harder and blood starting oozing from Segi's head.

"Yo he's going to rip my horn off!" He groans in pain.

What the fuck?

I run to Izumi and try to pry off his hand off Segi and he hisses at me and bites my hand.

"Izumi stop it! Let go of Segi! " I shout

He does as he is told and Segi backs away in pain and grabs his head that's covered in blood.

I look at Izumi who looks like he thinks he did nothing wrong, simply playing around.

Weird kid.

Donovan and Nora bust into the room and absorbs the current scene.

"What happened in here?! " Donovan asks shocked

"Izumi was just playing too rough with Segi. No big deal." I shrug

Nora walks over to Segi and observes his head and left horn.
"Most of Segi's protection comes from his horns, they shouldn't be pulled or break easily." Nora says concerned.

"I would like to run some tests on the boy." Donovan says picking up Izumi.

"On what? " I ask
Normally I wouldn't care what they do but since Maddie is super protective I have to.

"His interaction with another abnormal other than you two. " he looks at both of us and Segi's eyes widened.

"Maddie wouldn't want that,besides Izumi could get hurt." He says worried.

"No one is going to tell her. I really believe that this is necessary so I'm asking you to please cooperate. " Donovan pleads.

"Fine."

I sit next to Segi as I watch Donovan put Izumi down into a white empty room where we can watch him from our one way window as Frank brings in a large titanium container  inside as well.

Inside that box is an abnormal.

I don't know why but I'm starting to feel unease on my chest. I can't describe the feeling I'm feeling but I don't like it one bit.

"Worried?" Segi asks. I know he his. You can hear it in his voice.

I shrug.  Is that what this feeling is? Worry?
