I was currently planted on my couch crying my eyes out at Pride and Prejudice. This was by far my favorite romance movie that humans have ever made. I have watched it more than I can count and it still brings me to tears. Then again, I could be crying from my encounter with Adorabella. As much as I hate to admit it she really hurt me. I am a monster. I was the Goddess of destruction and that's all I would ever be.

Dobby jumped up on the couch and snuggled into my side, licking my hands in the process. I giggled and pet his soft fur.

"You want to watch a movie?" I said as I rubbed under his chin. I jumped up and ran to my cabinet in the corner of the room. I opened it up revealing my massive movie collection. One thing that has always fascinated me about the human world was their movies. They were utterly brilliant and I couldn't get enough of them. I skimmed over all the titles trying to find something that interested me.

"Hm, what do you think Dobby? Do you feel like crying, laughing, fighting, or screaming?" He jumped up and waddled over to where I was standing and rubbed against my legs, purring loudly.

"Action sounds good!" I knew exactly what I wanted to watch. I grabbed it and ran to my TV, quickly popping the disk in. "It's Lord of The Rings time!" I grinned as I picked up Dobby and plopped back down on the couch.

The movie began and I was instantly soothed by the calming voice of Galadriel, the Elf of the woods. Suddenly my stomach growled causing Dobby to jump up and hiss. I laughed and paused the movie before walking to my room. I knew I couldn't put off going to the store for long. It's been two years and I'm still not used to the constant need to eat. It's quite annoying. I stripped off my Nike shorts replacing them with leggings, knowing it was going to be cold. I then quickly pulled on my black boots, grabbed my leather jacket and pulled it on over my blue tank top. I walked back to my living room and said bye to Dobby before walking into the cold night.

I pulled my jacket closer around me, blocking the cold fall air from my arm. By the time I got to the store I was practically an icicle. Before walking in I walked to the side of the building and blew fire into my hands, instantly warming me up from head to toe. Once I was comfortable I walked through the sliding glass door and grabbed a basket.

As I shopped around I avoided everything healthy, as always. By the time I was done my basket consisted of boxes after boxes of candy, gallons of ice cream, Jalapeño cheetos, popcorn, and chocolate. Lots and lots of chocolate. Oh and cat food for Dobby! I walked to the register, looking for my friend that always rings me up. I finally spotted him and skipped over with a smile planted on my face.

"Hey Avery!" I said as I placed my basket on the counter. He just looked at it, then at me, and then back at it.

"How you are so skinny, I will never know." "

Hey, I'm healthy! I've my fruits." I said as I held up a box of gummy cherries. "And my Dairy." I held up a bar of chocolate in his face. I was about to pull another thing out when pulled the backet away from me while grinning.

"I know River! You say that every time." He laughed and he rang everything up. I was about to pull out my money from my jacket but before I could he swiped his credit card, buying my stuff.

"Avery-" I began but he cut me off.

"It's the least I can do sweetheart. You need to save that money of yours."

"How many times do I have to tell you to stop paying for my stuff? I have a job and am capable to pay myself!"

"I know you have a job at that awful diner. Why don't you quit and come work here. It's so much better and I could easily get you a job."

"I like where I work. They pay well."

"I know but-"

"Avery I'm fine. I'm a big girl now"

"I know. I just worry, that's all."

"Well don't, I will be fine." I picked up my bags and walked out of the store. I first met Avery when I moved here. I was broke and needed food. I walked in there like an idiot and ate stuff in the store. Luckily Avery caught me and paid for everything as he told he that you can't eat food until you pay for it. I gained a great friend and learned a valuable lesson in one day.

I growled at the cold air and began to walk. I had barely gotten ten feet before I ran into someone's hard chest, causing me to fall on my butt. I looked up to see a very amused Damon standing in front of me.

"Need some help there, River?" He asked as he reached down and lifted me back onto my feet.

"I'm so sorry Damon! I wasn't paying attention to where I was going."

"Don't worry angel, it's all good." He bent down and grabbed my bags before giving them back to me.

"Thanks." He just smirked at me and walked to the other side of the road where a black truck was waiting for him. He climbed in and the zoomed off in a matter of seconds. I had never seen Damon in this part of the town before. I wonder what he was doing here. Suddenely I heard what sounded to be a gun shot. I wasn't quite sure because I've never heard a real one, but it sounded like all the ones in the movies. I dropped my bags and ran behind the store where it came from. I looked around but didn't see anyone. I was about to turn back around and leave but then I heard another one burst through the air. It came from the woods so I ran in as fast as my feet could take me.

I know that you're thinking. 'Why would that idiot run towards a gun?' Well, a gun usually meant that someone was getting attacked. That meant that someone needed medical attention or there were bad guys that needed their butts kicked. It just so happened that I could heal things, and I had a lot of built up anger that I needed to take out on someone. I kept running towards the direction of the sound and the closer I got, the more I could hear people laughing.

I crept up and hid behind a tree before peering my head around to get a good look at what I was dealing with. There was a man who was laying on the ground, clearly unconscious or dead, and five men crowed over him kicking his sides while laughing and spitting down on him. I happily stepped out of my hiding place and cleared my throat to make myself known. The men turned to look at me, not quite sure what to make of the situation.

"It's party time."
