I couldn’t stop thinking about her. Moriah, what a beautiful name, I knew I was smiling like an idiot when she left to go to her class. I also notice a hand waving in my face. I got out of deep thought and growled at the person.

Jake: wow sorry dude, you looked paced out

H: whatever

Jake: what was all that about?

I frowned at him

H: what are you talking about?

Jake: you know what I’m talking about

He gave me the “I’m not stupid look”. I signed as I watched her round the corner and then I looked back to him.

Jake: does it have to do with that human?

H: nothing, let’s just get to class

The day went by slow. By the time it was lunch, she wasn’t in any of my class, which my wolf was irritated about that. As I walked through the doors to the lunch room, the scent hit me like bricks, as I scanned the area. My eyes finally landed on a small girl, whose hair was covering her face. I smiled and then frowned, she was sitting alone.

Seth: dude, get your mind out of the gutters

I jumped at the voice and realized I was standing alone. How long was I staring at her? I walked to the table, getting weird looks from my friends. I rolled my eyes and sat down, making sure I had a clear view. She had her head down, hasn’t touched her food, and she was rubbing her head where the ball hit her. I cringed at that, I would have done something to Jake, but he didn’t know. I couldn’t take it anymore, I had to go over there, and cheer up my mate. I got up, getting my friends too look at me.

Austin: where you going?

H: um I have to talk to someone

Seth: who

I groaned as I walked away, not bothering to answer his question. I scared her when I spoke, but she looked glad to see me. We started talking for a bit until her brother interrupted us. I didn’t know Aden was her brother. Then one thing led to another and that’s when my girlfriend popped in. My wolf growled at Brittany as she treated my mate with hate and disgust. I really just wanted to rip her head off, once I saw the torn look on Moriah’s face when I said “girlfriend”. My wolf mentally yelled at me for saying that and after I left, I was completely ignoring my friends and Brittany.
