My P.O.V

My father was near, Jake and Austin saw them in town today. They overheard them saying he’s planning on attacking tomorrow. Everybody was all around the place, some hyped about the battle, and then some nervous like I was. Even though it’s my family out there, I wasn’t too keen on ending their lives. Hayden was right and I’m glad I’m not going out there tomorrow. I don’t want to see the gruesome war, filled with guts and blood. Hayden had already moved the woman and children away from the village where they were protected by the neighboring pack, the Dawn pack. They agreed on helping us and so did the Dark Moon pack. So we mostly outnumbered the hunters, the weapons were all ready to go, and everybody was trained.

Aden: moriah

M: what

Aden interrupted my thoughts as I looked at my surroundings. We were in the kitchen, Hayden sitting down eating, and Aaron cooking something. I looked at Aden to see him frowning at me

M: I’m sorry Aden, what was that?

Aden: I said do you want more orange juice; it’s going to be gone

M: oh uh yea

He took my glass and poured the rest into my cup. I took it and leaned on the island, drinking the juice slowly

H: everything ok, love?

Hayden was now up from his chair and was next to me. His arm was around me as I looked down at the counter

M: yea, I’m fine

I faked smiled at him as he looked at me a little worried written on his face

H: you sure moriah

M: I’m fine, just haven’t been sleeping lately

Aar: well there’s always room where I’m at

He wiggled his eyebrows as I playfully glared at him. Hayden growled at him as he pulled me closer to him. I had to beg Hayden to let Aaron sleep inside the house, instead of sleeping outside like a dog. I mean seriously the guy wasn’t even full wolf, so he still freezes to death. Now since Aaron was inside, Hayden hasn’t left my side once when I was around Aaron. It was ridiculous

Aar: They always say I’m the best at cuddling

M: I’m fine Aaron and I think you’re getting that wrong

Aaron frowned and set the pan down. He smirked at me and crossed his arms

Aar: and why is that, princess

M: because they say you’re worst at getting girls into bed

Aden started choking on his juice as Hayden laughed into my shoulder

Aaron smiled

Aar: ha you’re funny but I got you in there

The laughter stops as I glared at him

H: not funny pin head

Aar: oh well big guy

M: alright, alright enough

I pushed Aaron lightly away from us

M: I’m going to bed, night

Aden: night sis
