They walked back as I looked at moriah’s house. I notice it was dark and her lights from her bedroom were on.

H “That was way too close, I want somebody guarding her house 24/7”

Seth “I’ll do it, I have nothing interesting to do anyway”

I nodded as I trotted over to her house. I peeked inside through the window to see nobody there. Aden came up to me and whines

Aden “My mother is usually in the kitchen at this time”

H “must’ve went to bed early”

Aden “impossible, she never goes to sleep at 8”

I shrugged as I shifted back, un-tying the rope, that held my cloths. I got dressed and started climbing the tree. I finally made it to the window, seeing through her window, but where she can’t see me. Her human eyes won’t be able to adjust to the dark that well and I was in a blind spot. She was on her bed, with her phone in hand. I saw her face very frustrated and her thumb over something. She then winced as she dropped her phone and held her chest. I gasped as she fell on the floor, tears coming down her cheek. I was about to go in, I didn’t want my mate to be in pain because of the stupid rejection she made. It was my fault, I started this. But I saw her clench her teeth as she slowly got up, I was amazed how strong she is. I smiled a goofy smile, wondering what it’ll be like to have her Luna of the pack. She got the stuff to be one too and she’s really smart. I knew that because she passes tests with flying colors.

She had gotten up when Aden poked me, making me jumped and growl at him. He smiled innocently and looked at his sister.

Aden: she looks like a mess

I frowned at him and looked back at her. I then noticed her hair was crazy looking, she had bags under her eyes, her eyes were blood shot red, she looked really skinny, and pale. My wolf whined at how we messed her up up completely.

Aden: I miss her

H: me too, but if she doesn’t come to school tomorrow, you can drag her out of here

He smiled and I did too. I patted is back and he nodded

Aden: you’re going to be one fine guy for her, that’s for sure

H: you think so

Aden: yea

H: why

Aden: 2 things, 1: she hasn’t shut up about you since and 2: she’s looking at a pic of you and her on her dresser

My head went back to see he was right. She was holding a pic of the day we went to the ice cream parlor. She looked at it, sliding her finger down my face and I thought I really felt it. She hugged it tightly and fell on her bed, sobbing. I groaned as I leaped down, Aden following in pursuit. I was shacking in anger and sorrow, as I leaped into the air and shifted. Aden shifted as well; we ran back to the pack house at went to sleep.

I was sitting down at my lonely table, were Moriah was supposed to be. I was getting agitated as the visions of last night flash through my eyes. She was starving herself and I was the one who did this to her. My leg started to shake as I started sniffing the air, until Seth contacted me through the mind link

Seth “Moriah’s back”

H “thx”

My heart thundered as I caught a whiff of her scent, nearby. I looked through my black hair to see her standing there, in the doorway. I gotten up when she finally came in and the bell rang. Her books fell so I helped her with those and the teacher came in, realizing she was back. I let her borrow my notes and to my sudden surprise, we had to do a project with our table partners. I was thrilled because I actually had an excuse to talk to her. Once I picked what we would do it on, Moriah was trying to get it. But I held it out of her reach, smiling as she became frustrated. But later on she reached into my pocket to get it, of course I went to grab it but she was too quick. Gym came along and I watched her carefully, talking to her after Aden did. I was thrilled that Moriah was in the back of the dome and somehow we ended up making out. I missed her dear lips and she was fumbling with my belt buckle.

I smirked as I whispered in her ear

H: somebody’s in a hurry

She blushed and I couldn’t help but kiss her. But things come to an end and so we went with our friends to the lunch room. I tried to make her eat but she kept refusing. I had to get her to eat soon, because she was even paler than last night.

I was out in the field, dribbling the ball through my team mate’s legs when I smelt something off. I told the team to get a 10 min break when I saw Moriah sprinting out the door, looking behind her. I sniffed the air again and my wolf howled in fury. There was yet another vampire here and I ran to Moriah, who bumped and fell. She looked like she saw a ghost as she told me what happened?

H “Guys get over here now”

I heard the guys coming towards us as Moriah began to cry. I crush her to my chest as I heard one of the guys say

 Aden: what happened?

H: Moriah’s being stocked

They gasped as I smelt the air again. The wind blew east and I smelt the vampire, it was fresh. I held a growl as I looked at Moriah. She was frozen in pure shock and I had to do something. That fucking monster came that close to my mate and he wasn’t going out that easy.

H: Aden, Seth, take moriah to the house. Jake, Austin come with me

M: wait where are you going?
