Hayden's P.O.V-I'm going all out to win her heart

Hayden P.O.V

I felt something hard hit my head, but I was too upset to even look what hit me. I then heard something fell as I grabbed a golden chain. I looked at it real good and my wolf howled in pain, I shook in mad depression as I slowly opened it to feel my heart shattered. It was the locket I gave her, the picture of her and me at the park, back when we were friends. I felt a tear come down my cheek as I slowly sobbed there silently. My wolf was in pain and was taking the rejection really bad. I didn’t meant to make it come this far, but I blew it. I grabbed the crap from the floor and ran out, closing the door, and running to my car. I drove to the house and I literally sat there, hitting the steering wheel. I was in pure rage at myself as I slowly felt the rejection come back, breaking me into sweats to breath. If a wolf gets rejected, it starts hitting you hard, as the separation starts. It hurts like a bitch as it slowly makes you feel lifeless. Then it leads into depression and all you want to do is cry in grief, thing is though, it affects both of us. So Moriah should be feeling it to but much painful, since she’s human. I heard her cries as I was tempted to go back. But Austin caught me as I looked at him, with tears coming down.

Austin: aww man, let’s get you inside buddy

My boys knew about the plan, keeping moriah safe, but I guess it was over. I heard her mad cries and screaming as I stopped. My wolf whined for me to go back to her but I didn’t, I couldn’t interfere with her life anymore. Austin lead me inside, well he dragged me inside and sat me down. Aden came downstairs and he must have seen the tears because he was in front of me quickly.

Aden: what happened?

Of course I didn’t tell Aden that his baby sitter was my mate. It would put me into more trouble than I already am. Plus, my friends didn’t like the little plan I have, including Seth. I don’t know what was with him and the plan I had against Moriah. I was only protecting my mate. Seth came in from his room and he saw me. He looked pissed, even though he was only my strongest fighter, he was my best friend.

Seth: WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED?

Everybody looked at Seth’s outburst, normally I wouldn’t tolerate his attitude but I knew he was right

Seth: YOU FUCKING GOT REJECTED DIDN’T YOU?

I nodded slowly and Aden was frowning

Aden: what does he mean rejected? Who rejected you?

I put my head in my hands as the locket fell out of my grasp. I dived for it but Aden retrieved it faster than I did. My wolf growled as Aden began to in expect it.

Aden: what are you doing with Moriah’s locket?

H: nothing, just give it to me

I went to grabbed it but he dodged my hand. He opened it and his eyes widen. I heard a growl escape his lips as he tackled me to the ground. He shifted and started snapping at me. I growled as I shifted into my black wolf. I easily got him off of me and barred my teeth at him

H: HOW DARE YOU DISRESPECT YOUR ALPHA

Aden: HOW DARE YOU MAKE MY SISTER’S LIFE MISERABLE? I DID EVERYTHING YOU SAID AND I DIDN’T KNOW IT WOULD HURT HER THAT MUCH AND THEN TO EXPECT THAT YOU’RE HER MATE. FUCK YOU HAYDEN

I growled as I was about to attack when Seth made his way in the middle

H: get out of the way Seth

Seth: no, he’s right

H: WHAT

Seth: YOU HEARD ME. I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU DID THIS TO HER, SHE LIKED YOU, BUT ALL YOU DID WAS BLEW HER OFF. TURNED YOU OTHER CHEEK AS SHE BEGAN TO FEEL HURT. SHE TRUSTED YOU AND YOU LET HER DOWN

I growled and then it hit me. They were right and I was being a jerk to her. I signed as I shifted back, my knees on the floor. Tears came down my cheek as I let it all sink in.

H: you’re right

Aden shifted back and he looked at me, all anger left from his system.

Jake: look, all you have to do, is apologize to her

H: she won’t even look at me without screaming

Aden: well you deserved it

Austin: hey just because it’s your sister and it’s your problem doesn’t mean you can disrespect your Alpha

Thank you Austin

I smiled grateful at him but he was pissed at me as well

Aden: sorry

Austin: and I’m not happy with you either Hayden. We’ve been best friends since we were in diapers and we talked about mates when we were like 7. We always say we’ll treat them right. Whatever happened to that guy?

He was right, that guy left me, but he was coming back

H: that guy you’re talking never left

Austin smiled as I got up.

H: but I need to get Aden and Moriah back to being family

Aden smiled as he grabbed me in a hug. I was on my way to get my mate’s heart back
