My P.O.V

The pain in the back of my head, hurt like hell.

H: babe

I groaned as I got myself to sit up, feeling the cold metal chains dangle.

M: Hayden

I whimpered as he looked at me with a worried look

H: kitten, I’m so sorry. But I promise you, nothing is going to happen ok? I’m going to get you out

M: promised

I whispered and he smiled softly

H: I promise on my life, Moriah

I nodded as I crawled to him, but they only pulled him back. I was frustrated as I did it again, but it pulled him back more. I started whimpering as I stayed there, sitting down. I needed his arms around me, to comfort me

H: moriah, baby, don’t cry. If you move fast, they will extract

I nodded as I slowly and carefully moved. I was then by him and I jumped into his lap, causing him to fall back. I started crying as he held me tight, kissing my hair.

H: I’m so sorry I got you into this

M: Hayden

It was the only thing I could make out, as I clutched to his shirt for dear life.

H: shh don’t cry

He tilted my head up to face him and he plastered his lips against mine. I kissed back as we made out, but soon I heard a machine going. I jumped and started panicking as I felt a pull on my hands.

M: HAYDEN

H: MORIAH, DON’T LET GO

He clung onto me as I felt the force getting stronger, but Hayden was weak. I could see it, so I had to be strong. I attached my lips to his for one last time and let him go. I hit the wall a little hard but I was fine. The door opened and I was to suspect Daniel, but it was a guy with white hair. Hayden gasped and then struggled to get out as I looked at the guy.

Guy: hello Hayden, it’s so nice to see you again

Hayden: what the FUCK DOES YOU WANT CAIN

My body froze as the guy smiled at Hayden. It was Cain, the leader of the vampires. I frowned as I saw Daniel coming towards me, grinning, and his eyes red. My nerves kicked in as Daniel stood by me, watching Hayden.

Cain: we have UN finished business to take care of

H: fine, but let her go. Then you can have whatever you want with me

I whimpered as I looked at Hayden.

M: no Hayden

H: MORIAH NO, I NEED TO GET YOU OUT OF HERE. IF YOU DIE, I DON’T KNOW WHAT I WOULD DO WITH MYSELF. Plz kitten, just trust me

Tears formed my eyes as I saw Cain looked at me with those red eyes. I gasped and started to cower in fear as he came closer to me, with an evil grin on his face

H: CAIN NO GETS AWAY FROM HER. IT’S ME YOU WANT, REMEMBER

Cain: so you’re the famous Moriah I’ve been hearing

H: don’t say a word, kitten

D: shut up, flee bag

H: huh, make me

D: why I outta

Cain raised a white hand at him, as he studied me.

Cain: be patient my son, good things do come to those who are patient

D: yes father

Cain: do you know what I am, sweet child?

I nodded as Hayden began to struggle against the sliver chains.

Cain: what am I?

M: a vampire

He chuckled as he bent down towards me. I stood my ground as he smiled wide

Cain: are you afraid of me, child

I gritted my teeth together as I looked at him dead in the eyes.

M: no

His eyes widen in fear as he step back, but then smiled

Cain: she’s has a strong heart, it would be ashamed if something…drastic happened

H: CAIN I SWEAR, IF YOU PUT ONE FINGER ON HER

Cain started laughed as he circled me. I was in panic mode and Hayden was struggling faster now.

Cain: OR WHAT? YOU CAN’T GET OUT OF THOSE CHAINS MUTT. HAVEN’T YOU NOTICE IT’S SLIVER AND TO THINK I THOUGHT YOU WERE SMARTER THAN THIS. YOU LEAD INTO MY TRAP AND YOU’RE PATHETIC, WEAK, AND BORING ASS MATE WITH YOU

It went quiet as Cain bent down in a strike stand. I knew that stance anywhere, especially in twilight. I looked at Hayden, water coming to my eyes. I then mouthed out

M: I love you

I then felt pain go through me as I screamed bloody murder, but felt myself slip away, into the cold dark. Hearing the voice I loved
