Hayden’s P.O.V

I woke up early only to smile down at my mate. I was so happy that she knew who I was and now all I have to worry about was, if she likes me still. My heart tightened at that, not her loving me the way I do. Yes I know, I said I love her but it’s true. I would do anything for her and those reeking blood suckers won’t get to her. My thoughts drift off to the events that happened yesterday. That blood sucker keeping tabs on my mate, being there when she was waiting for me. My wolf growled at that, how my mate was unprotected, and leaving her exposed. But I took care of him; I made sure he felt pain and that he would regret stalking my mate. I felt my wolf grinned as we had ripped the shrieking vampire up, pieace by pieace. My wolf howled as we had the vampire’s blood on our paws.

My mate stirred, bring me back to reality. She groaned as she started tossing in her sleep. My wolf whined as I slowly rubbed her back and kissed her cheek. She then stops and to my surprised, her eyes flew open. My heart thundered as my wolf howled in joy.

H: morning beautiful

Moriah stretched with a grin on her face, which made me smile. She yawned and I couldn’t help myself, I kissed her but she pushed me away quickly. She saw the sadness in my eyes because she kissed my cheek.

M: sorry Hayden, but I have morning breath

She smiled nervously and I let out bark laughter

H: babe, I don’t care

I kissed her quick, but she squealed away

M: still

She whined as I chuckled, she was too cute

H: whatever

I got up as she snuggled inside the covers

H: stay there, I’ll be back

She frowned and I walked downstairs. I went inside the kitchen, looking inside the fridge to see 6 eggs left. I frowned as I pulled them out and half a packet of bacon.

H: looks like she needs to go grocery shopping

I smirked as I got out some paper and a pen. I went through all the cabinets and made a list of things. I then made some breakfast for my lil kitten, putting a rose on the trey, and some orange juice. I ate my breakfast quickly, running upstairs so the food won’t get cold. I opened the door to see her sleeping soundly. I chuckled as I set the food down next to the bed and I kissed her temple. She groaned and rubbed her eyes, making her looks so adorable. I took the trey and held it out to her. She sat up quickly, her eyes get widen, and her mouth popping open. I put it down and she started devouring, I started laughing my guts out.

M: omg this is so good

H: thx

She was done in 2 mins, kissing my cheek, and running to the bathroom.

M: thank you Hayden

I shivered as she said my name. It felt good how she said it

H: you’re welcome kitten

I heard the water running so I took the trey and walked down stairs. I started washing the dished, in my own little world until I felt somebody kick my ass. I smirked as I turned off the water, turning around to see moriah smirking at me.

H: did you just kick my ass

She gasped

M: me, kick you, no

 H: mhh hmm

I took some of the bubbles and blew it at her. She squealed and giggled as she took the water hose. I froze in my spot, holding up my hands

H: you wouldn’t

She smirked, hands on the knob

M: oh I would

She turned the knob and I felt cold water hit me. She started laughing as she squirting me. My wolf was joying it, even though I was getting soaked. I then had a plan, I ran to her, and grabbed the nozzle. I turned it to her and now we were wet, laughing, and getting everything wet. Soon we were on the floor, drenched but we didn’t care.

M: uhh that was fun

H: ha yea

I got up and helped her up as well. She kissed my cheek as I looked lovingly at her.

M: I have to go take a shower now

H: alright love

M: you can use my parent’s bathroom

I nodded, going inside the room, and walked inside. I frowned as I saw a note taped to the mirror.

Dear Moriah,

We’re sorry that we’re leaving you. We just couldn’t bare Aden not being here with us. It has nothing to do with you sweetheart, we love you dearly. We are going to New York to look for your real parents. We want you to have a better life with them instead of us. There are just some things that you can’t know about and we’re dreadfully sorry. We love you

My hands balled into fists as I threw the paper away. So there planning on finding her parents so she can live with them. My wolf whined but growled.

“They will not take our lil kitten away from us”

H “You got that right, pal”

I took of my shirt and was about to turn on the water when there was a knock on the door.
