Hayden P.O.V--My mom wants to see my mate. OH CRAP

Hayden P.O.V

I was doing some work until I heard the guys and Moriah go inside the den. Lately there have been some signs of vampires running around and I don’t want to risk a pack member. So I scheduled for an 8 o’clock time in. My dad was ok with it and my mom was too. I sat down the pencil because I had to file some pack members and reports of what happened yesterday. Yesterday was a complete disaster. First Moriah sees me with Brittany and runs away, the next min I’m ripping the throat off of a vampire who tried to kill my mate. Moriah, oh man isn’t she a beauty. My wolf purring in agreement, but growled when the thought of that vampire hurting her

If I wasn’t there in time, she would have been killed, and I would be lost. Without her, I wouldn’t be able to function right and lead the pack. I would have had to step down from my place and let Jake lead since he’s next in command. I’m trying everything to get those filthy blood suckers away from my mate but they keep coming back. Every once in a while, they would lead me to her backyard and I would go ballistic. They knew where she lived or was it a coincidence? But they would always go through the same route and always get a little closer. I signed as I heard the guys talking to her, Moriah’s voice sent chills down my spine, as my wolf whined.

“Can we plz go to her?”

H “I don’t know she seemed scared of us”

When we go through that gate and just when I’m parking, Moriah flies out through the door. I braked so she wouldn’t get hurt but she was fine and hugging Aden. That set me over the edge because not did she just jump out of a moving vehicle, she could have gotten hurt which would have been my fault and I would never forgive myself. Once I parked and started yelling out her, I saw fear go through her eyes, as she cowered behind her brother. My wolf whined and growled at me for making our lil mate scared of us. I didn’t mean to yell but she mean so much to me and it’s not the fact that she’s angry for me for some reason. I mean, at least tell me what I’m supposed to answer instead of getting angry at me. But my wolf and I know that I will do anything for her in a heartbeat. I couldn’t rick losing the most important person in my life. I really loved her.

My eyes widen and my heart stopped for a second. I know I’m being a girl but I just said I loved her. Well to myself of course, but I never felt like this to anyone but her. I loved Moriah and I’m totally whipped. A knock brang me out of my thoughts as I growled. Who in the right mind interrupts me when I’m thinking about my mate in peace instead of worry? I sniffed the air to only feel sorry, it was my mom

H: come in

The door opened to see young women in its place. My parents married at a young age and had me weeks after. So my mom could probably pass as my older sister, which would be weird but whatever. I love her dearly and I couldn’t live without her. My thoughts then went to the note I found on Moriah’s parents bathroom mirror. How they said they are looking for her real parents so she doesn’t have to live with their bad life. A werewolf’s life is pretty dangerous for a human, but it’s unlikely a werewolf’s mate is human. That’s how special Moriah is, she my human mate and Luna of Midnight moon.

Mom: hey Hady

I cringed at my mom’s nickname she gave me. I groaned but smile at her, she knew how to push my buttons and then make me forgive her quickly

H: hey mom

She gave me a kiss on the cheek and sat down on the chair. Something was off about her, she’s more smiley and jumpy and I don’t want to know why though. I feel like something is going to be happening and I feel like it’s going to evolve with my mate. My wolf growled at how my mate was not being protected and I had to remind him that she’s in a room with 4 other wares. But he didn’t calm down though, nothing calm us until we’re next to her.

Mom: I heard you found you’re mate

Told you so, I can read my mom like an open book. I groaned as she started jumping around and grabbing my wrist, pulling me up, and out the door.

Mom: tell me all about her sweetheart. Is she pretty? IS she tall? Is she another werewolf? When are you having children? Is she funny? Is she smart?

My mom blurted out all these questions, fling them at me in different directions. I had to put my hands on either side of her arm to make her stop jumping around.

H: MOM

She went quiet as I signed, massaging my brain. I looked at her and she was waiting for answers. I groaned as I flopped myself down on the couch while my mother sat on the other

H: she’s amazing beautiful, she really smart, funny, and she’s has a gorgeous laugh. Her eyes are just breath taking and no mom we’re not having kids yet. I just admitted my secret to her; I didn’t even tell her she’s mine yet.

My mom gasps and got up, pointing a finger at me while she yelled at me

Mom: you better not lose her because if you do I will punish you. You better tell her that she’s your mate because I don’t want those filthy hoes in my house again. You understand me mister?

I almost started laughing when she said the hoe part. It was true, I did bring sluts in the house to get knocked up, but I wasn’t looking for them anymore, I have my mate. I didn’t even want one and I really didn’t understand my friends telling about how amazing it feels to be with them and look at them for the first time. But now I know and I wanted to be with Moriah every second of the minute, every minute of the hour, ever hour of the day, every day for the week, ever week of the month and so on. I couldn’t get enough of her and when I mark her, the feeling would be twice more. My wolf would be begging to mate with her and once we do, we wouldn’t want to keep our hands to ourselves. We would want to rip our cloths off and make love to each other every min. I felt myself go hard and that was embarrassing because my mom was here

H: alright

Mom: I also want to meet her

H: soon, not now

She grumbled and walked away. I then hurried up to the den to hear them talking. I ended up getting hit in the chest by Moriah when I didn’t answer her question. She got up from my lap, but I brang her back down, she was struggling to get out of my grip.

M: Hayden you better tell me who your mate is or I’m not talking to you

My wolf whined and told me to stop and just tell her. I didn’t want to tell her like this, I wanted it to be special.

H “guys, can you give us some privacy”

They all nodded in union and started walking out

Aden: we’ll just be around

They all scurried out and I looked back to see a very pissed off Moriah. I chuckled at how cute she is when she’s mad at me, but I really didn’t like it though.

H: babe

M: don’t babe me; tell me Hayden because I know it’s not me

That stung right in my heart, my wolf howled in pain as I looked at her sadly. She frowned as the silence grew.
