H: if I lose you, I don’t know what I do. The moon goddess gave me another chance to be with you and I took. I saw how sad and hut you were, crying yourself to sleep and then trying to get out of those chains. I didn’t like it and then the moon goddess told me to protect you

He looked up at me with worry and pain in his eyes

H: she told me you we’re special, I don’t know how but she told me I was lucky that you’re my mate. I don’t need to lose the most important person in my life, the person who helps me breathe, and the person who helps me think straight, and helps me be strong

He cupped my head in his hands and looked deep into my eyes

H: I love you moriah and I don’t want to lose you. Even if it’s to get revenge on your dad, I won’t buy it. You are going to be protecting the children, for the sake of our pack

I saw his eyes water and the thing is, I never seen Hayden cry before. I didn’t like not knowing what was happening to him on the battlefield, but if it’s to calm him down and makes him think straight, I guess

M: fine

He nodded and gulped, pulling me in for a hug.

H: I love you kitten and don’t you forget it

I giggled and kissed his cheek

Aar: well that was quite a performance but I think we should head back

My eyes widen as my grip tightened on Hayden shirt

M: no

Hayden chuckled but his grip tightened to

M: I don’t want to leave yet

I buried my head in his shirt

H: believe me kitten, I don’t want you to go either, but it’s for my protection and your safety

I groaned as we walked out of the place, Aaron leading. Hayden bent down to my ear and whispered

H: make sure you hit your brother for me

I giggled and nodded as we stepped outside

H: wow cool hiding place, I probably wouldn’t find it

Aaron shrugged and locked it, Hayden looking at him

H: thank you Aaron, for everything. Especially keeping Moriah safe, I wouldn’t have forgiven myself if I put moriah in even more danger

Aar: no prob, I would have looked after her anyway

Hayden nodded and had a thoughtful look on his face

H: well, I knew that was coming

I frowned

M: what?

Hayden looked down at me and smiled

H: nothing love

He kissed me quick

Aar: you still have an apology

H: right

Why do they always do that to me? Just telepathically talk to each other and leave me in the dark
