7:00 rolled around pretty quickly and everybody I invited showed up. Luke, Calum, Hanna and even Ashton too. I was fine with Hanna and Calum being friends now, it didn't bother me as much but deep down inside, I still had that fear that something could happen between them. Just like I fear the same 'thing' could happen between her and anybody else. I shouldn't worry, what Hanna says most of the time we're together. But I still do.

The party started off as nice. Not much booze was brought, less likely to have the police show up. No drugs, like I asked and everyone seemed to have a good time. That's until more people showed up than I had invited. Maybe 50 people were here now. 20 more than I invited.

But, I didn't worry because I was having so much fun. It seemed like Hanna was having a lot of fun too because I saw her hanging out with my friends, and some of her friends. She was laughing and smiling. That's all I saw her do tonight.

Some people had asked her for her name and she just smiled and said "Trouble". I laughed along with her and everyone else. I was pressed against the wall, and just watched everyone having a good time. But my eyes were on her most of the night.

I had some time to think, too. About Hanna and I. I had wondered how we ended up here. A couple. How did we start talking? The bookstore was our leverage and connected us. My friends even told me that I was so out of her league, that I should lock her in a basement or something before she figured out who I really was. But she figured that out on her own and she seemed to love it.

Something snaps me out of my thoughts as I looked over at Hanna. I didn't know what was wrong with her frown but then I saw Calum winking at her from across the room. He bit his lip. She blushed but tried to hide it. She's mine, not Calum's.

Calum repeated his actions for a while until I got fed up with it and walked over to him. Why is he being like this? How much did he drink?

"Stop, Calum. I saw what you were doing" I pressed a finger to his chest. "Calm down, Clifford. I'm just having fun and loosening up. I'm not doing any harm" with his slurring, I could tell he was drunk. He put on a smug smirk and walked away from me. I then looked back at a wide eyed Hanna. She shook her head at me then went back to talking to her friends about God knows what.

During the party, I saw that Hanna had taken at least 4 shots. I was iffy about that but brushed it off since I knew she wouldn't do anything stupid. Calum on the other hand, I was definitely worried. For him and anybody's sake.

Luke was talking to a few friends but they soon left him to go dance. So I slowly made my way towards him. "Luke?" I asked. He snapped his heads towards me and raised an eyebrow. "Yeah?"

"Calum has been drinking. Like a lot. Can you come with me to tell him to stop?" Luke nodded and followed me. We searched and searched for Calum but no sign of him. Luke and I ended up just floating around, room to room until we had found him. And thankfully, we had found him after an hour of searching. He was in one of the bathrooms, sitting on top of the counter with his phone in hand. "Cal?" I asked. "Oh god. It's the police. Better finish off my drink before you take it from me" he laughed and took a swig from his red solo cup. In one swift motion, he finished it. I was surprised.

"Calum, we're worried about you. Please stop drinking? I'll get you some water of coffee?" Luke suggested with a sympathetic smile. "No. No. No. No. No. No. I want this drink. Not some stupid drink" he laughed at his own words. "Calum, please listen" Luke went on.

I glanced between Luke and Calum, seeing the fear in Luke's eyes and the happiness in Calum's. "NO! Do not tell me what to do, Lucas" Calum knew Luke hated when anybody called him that. "Don't call me that! That's a horrible name!"

Basically Luke was named after his grandfather, Lucas Hemmings, and Luke hates the man. So he went to the only other option he had. So now he's Luke.

"I'll stop when you stop bossing me around!" he yells. Luke and I were dead silent, we didn't want to say anything. Calum noticed this and formed a content smile on his face. "At least you two shut up. I'm gonna leave and get some more alcohol in my system. I am going to have a fun time if you two don't mind" he giggled like a little girl and walked out of the bathroom, stumbling as well.

Before Calum had actually left, he whispered into my ear, "Be careful of your girlfriend. She could do something she will regret in the morning if you don't keep an eye on her"

I spent 2 hours looking for Hanna. Calum did scare me, I just didn't want to admit that. That would make me look weak and desperate for help. I'm not looking for help but I am desperate for looking for her. Luke went his separate way and said if he found her, he would tell her to come find me. But I was the one looking for her for a very long time.

I didn't think of this before-to go upstairs. I guess I had spaced it out because I rarely saw anybody go up there. But I trudged up the stairs. When I got up there, I knocked on each and every door. And finally, my old room was at the end of the hallway.

I knocked about three times before opening the door and seeing my nightmare play right in front of me. Calum on top of Hanna. Hanna below Calum. They were in the middle of making out when I opened the door. Red solo cups were sprawled around the floor.

Hanna pushed Calum away from her and walked calmly over to me. "Michael, this isn't what it seems" she started saying. She didn't seem drunk, but I knew Calum was. "Oh hey Michael" Calum laughed. "Get out, Calum!" I screamed. Calum did as he was told, patted me on the back and stumbled out of the room I wanted to burn.

"Are you serious?" I asked her. "M-Michael" she sniffled. "How could you do this to me?" I asked simply, with tears streaming down my cheeks. "Tell me, what was this then? Since it wasn't what it seems?!" I yell at her, and she took a couple steps back. "Was this you and Calum making out? Stabbing me in the back!?" I screamed, pushing her. "Michael, I'm sorry!" she yelled back with pleading eyes. "You're sorry? Didn't seem like you were sorry when you were sucking on my best friends mouth!!" she stumbled back when I came closer to her.

"He came on to me!" she defended. "Doesn't mean you couldn't have pushed him away! It's easy. Just push him. Like this" I pushed her and she fell on her bum. But she landed on the bed, like I expected her too. "I wish I could take this back" she cried into her hands. "Hanna" I choked out through tears. She looked back up at me. "Did you ever love me?" my heart broke at my own words and I just wanted to die. I couldn't believe this happened. I loved her, and it seemed like she didn't love me anymore. What did I do to her? Was I not good enough? Did I do something wrong?

"Yes, Michael. Of course I do" she stood up and walked up to me with a rush. "Did I do something wrong?" I stepped back. "No, you didn't. I did. I'm so sorry, Michael. We can fix this, can't we?" she asked with a slight smile. "No, we can't" she gasped but I mentally rolled my eyes. "Just leave, Hanna. Do me a favor and just leave"

"What?" she asked like she couldn't hear me. "I said leave!"

She grabbed her coat quickly and left without saying goodbye.

I walked slowly over to my door and shut it. My back slid against the white painted wood and I slid down to the floor.

Little did I know that was the last time I'd ever get to see her.
