"Yeah, tonight...So you'll come?...Awesome!...See you then...Bye Hayden..." when I heard that click, I shot up in bed. "Luke?" footsteps rush to my room. "Yeah?" he furrows his eyebrows, like he's confused I asked for him. He acted like he belonged here. "Mind telling me what you are doing here?" I ask slowly as I sit up slowly. "Oh, yeah. My place had no food. So, you always have food. Came here, called Hayden and-"

"Why'd you call Hayden?" I cut him off. "I was getting to that" Luke huffed. "As I was saying, before you rudely interrupted me, I called her to invite her over my place tonight. I invited Ashton and May. And I also want to invite you. So, will you come?" he leaned against the door frame. "Yeah, sure. How'd you get her number?" I asked with a raised eyebrow. "Oh, when you walked away I hung out with her for a second to get her number" he shrugged and walked away.

Later on, we all thought Hayden wouldn't come afterall. It was just Ashton, Luke, May, and I. All of us just sitting around sipping at our sodas. "Is she coming or not?" Ashton asks with an annoyed tone. "She said she was coming" Luke groaned. "But whe-" coincidentally, the doorbell rung. Luke shot up from his seat besides May and ran to the door. "Ashton, you're gonna freak out!" Luke called. Ashton and I glanced at each other.

The door swung open, few words were exchanged and soon Luke and Hayden walked into the living room. "WOAH" Ashton yelled out, jumping up to his feet. "Told you so. Hayden, Ashton. Ashton, Hayden" Luke introduced. Hayden smiled and extended her hand out to Ashton. He hesitantly took her hand in his large one.

"Is this some kind of joke? Did Hanna really die or is this some kind of sick joke?" Ashton's jaw is dropped and eyes are wide. "It's not a joke, Ash. She seriously just looks like Hanna" Luke laughs. May giggles and stands up, starting over to Hayden. "Hi. I'm May. Luke's girlfriend" she informs her seriously. "Hi. I'm Hayden. Nobody's girlfriend"

I laughed and Hayden glanced over at me. She smirked, I winked, then I felt like my insides were melting slowly. "Want a beer?" Luke asks her. She nods. He disappeared into the kitchen while we all sat down. Hayden decides to sit beside me.

"We should play a game" Ashton suggested. "Like what?" Hayden and I ask in unison. "Never Have I Ever!" Luke screams from the kitchen. We all glance at each other and nod, in agreement. "I'll go first!" Ashton jumped in his seat like a little boy. "Never have I ever seen look-a-like Hanna before tonight" he laughs hysterically when I put up a finger. "Who let Ashton go first?!" Luke screamed.

"Luke and I hate you, Ashton" I informed him. He stuck out his tongue at me. "Never have I ever dated Hanna. HA" Luke yells. Ashton and I roll our eyes but reluctantly put up a finger. "Sorry, Michael!"

"Yeah, yeah"

May went, then the cycle went on and on for an hour.

"I'll be right back" I said, although nobody responded. I guess nobody heard me or noticed me because they didn't respond. When I shut the front door, it opened again. Behind me was Hayden. I pulled out my cigarette pack without fear. She seemed to not mind so I went with it. "So, how was this Hanna girl?" she smirked as she leaned against the door. "She was amazing. Actually, she acts like you" I light the cancer stick up.

"How so?" she knits her eyebrows together. "I dunno. Well, you're carefree. Nice, sweet, happy. Like she was" the conversation suddenly felt serious. "And you're beautiful"

"Like her?"

"Like her"

"Well, thank you"

"No, thank you"

"Why thank me?" she laughs and shifts her weight to one leg, crossing her arms too. "To maybe save me from the nightmare I was living in"

"No problem" Hayden kisses me on the cheek gently. Her soft lips pressed against my cheek felt amazing. The scent of her vanilla bean perfume radiated off of her and engulfed me. She pulled away seconds later and left me.

I stayed back for a few minutes to finish the cigarette. I put it out then went back in.

After all of the fun we had, including the flirting between Hayden and I, the laughs from the games, daring each other to do stuff, it ended up being 2 in the morning and everyone decided to go home.

Hayden was putting on her jacket when I ran up to her. "Hey, Hayden" I let out a breathy laugh. "Hey, what's up?"

"Uh, I was wondering...would you like to go out with me sometime? For coffee or something?"

"Are you wasted?"

"No"

"Then okay"
