Amber's POV:

Most of the plane ride was quiet; Lilli and Liam fell asleep within an hour of taking off. I spent most of the trip sitting next to Niall and talking to him. We never really had alone time until now, and I was so happy I could just relax and talk to him.
"I miss us. I miss close like this." He held my left and and smiled at me. A smile stretched across my face as I agreed with him; I did miss having him in every part of my life. "So you real excited for this baby?" His fingers escaped mine and slid over my stomach gentley, careful of the bruising.
"Yeah, I am. And so is Liam." I rotated my head to my right to see him; his head tilted back and mouth hanging open. I chuckled a little and saw Lilli doing the same thing. "And I think Lilli is too, but I don't think she fully understands that there's another baby coming, you know?"
"I don't see how she doesn't! She is smarter than most adults I know!"
"I know," I laughed out. "But I think she thinks the baby's going to be like another one of her dolls." We laughed about our silly Lilli for a little bit, and then I started to tell him my new baby name ideas. "Are those crazy? It's all I've been thinking about in the hospital." I rubbed my stomach under my hoodie as my smile shined down to him or her.
"Not at all! Those are beautiful names, Love. I think he or she would be happy with any of those names." He leaned in slowly with his eyes closed, and I prayed he wouldn't do what I was expecting. Instead he planted a soft peck on the bridge of my nose. After a few minutes in silence, I asked him about Gill and he told me everything.
"We went out a few times, and I think I really like her." He looked down at his fingers, smiling. "Is that crazy?"
"Not at all, Niall." I was so incredibly happy for him, and for Gill. They both deserved someone great and I knew they'd be perfect for each other in the long run. He told me how he took her to the cinema one day and then out to dinner the next. He even told me that her kiss was magical to him; like a kiss he's never felt before. "Really?" I tried to hide the hurt in my voice with excitement.
"Yeah, it's crazy." He folded his hands and laid his head back on the seat. "It looks like our lives are finally starting to fall into place, huh?" He whispered to me with his eyes shut tight.
"Yeah, I guess they finally are." I pushed his sweet, blonde hair out of the way and kissed him forehead. I cuddled up on his shoulder and slowly shut my eyes. I felt so comfortable and happy with how things were working out now. I was happy Niall was happy and he felt the same way about me. Within a few minutes, I was fast asleep.
