Amber's POV:

-Mid December-

It's been a few weeks since I turned thirty years old and it's really starting to sink in. I was stuck in between two relationships, I had two childern, and now realizing that I am still too young to be in my shoes. I guess this was just a concequence of growing up at such a young age.

Miracle was adapting to her enviornment more and more each day, and I was so happy to see that. Lilli grew very fond of her and liked being around her a lot. Lilli also was spending a lot more time with Niall now, which obligated me to spend more time with him too.

I was closer and closer to the good, old days with Niall each time he and I would take Lilli out. The days where we'd take her to the park or have a movie pajama day with her were sort of like our dates; we never had any alone time. Tonight we had a plan to change that, though.

I had called up Isabella and asked her if Lilli could come play with Mickey for the night. "Yeah, sure thing! Any particular reason why?" She knew me all too well and I should've expected her to ask that.

"I'll explain it to you when I come and drop her off." I quickly got off the phone with her so I could get ready. I showered earlier in the day so I could use the curling rod on my hair. My small bathroom became hot, but I didn't want to open it to face Liam laying in bed with Miracle's bassinet set up next to him.

I dusted on some light make-up and ran out to the closet to get changed. I wanted to look very cute, but casual enough for no one to expect anything. "So where you going tonight?" Liam asked; he was watching FRIENDS reruns on the television as I stripped in and out of tops from within the closet.

"Just out for the night to clear my head. I might stop in the cafe and read a book, or something." The lie burned in my throat and mouth, but I kept going along with it anyway. I wiggled into my jeans and buttoned on a white blouse over my lace bra. I slipped into a grey cardigan as well since it was really cold outside tonight.

"Lilli, you ready to go?" I called to her while I laced up my boots and pulled on my black hat. Liam followed me out with the baby monitor in his hand, awaiting Miracle's nap to end. "Her formula is in the cabinet and the new bottles are washed so you can use them instead of the old ones." Liam assisted my arms into my black peacoat, making it harder to persue my plan.

"Okay, I will. Have fun tonight, Love." He lightly pecked my cheek and started to walk back to the bedroom. "Lilli, your Mother's waiting." He knocked on her door on his way back.

"I'm coming!" She dashed out and slammed into the front door. "Let's go!" I just laughed at her and lead her to the car. Niall was waiting in the driver's seat for us. "Hi Daddy!"

"Hi Angel." We got in and headed off to Isabella's flat. Within ten minutes we were at her front door and I was dreading telling her my plans.

"Hi guys, come on in!" She was in a dark washed pair of bootcut jeans and a black knit jumper with white horses on it. Her hair fell naturally around her face where her new glasses rested on her face. Lilli and Mickey were already gone, playing with Barbies in the bedroom.

"Hey, how's it going?" Eric, who was sitting on the sofa in her living room, stood up to greet us. Isabella and Eric were getting real serious now, and I couldn't be more happy for her. I really was hoping that they'd be married soon, actually.

"Why don't you boys chat while Amber and I go make a pot of tea." She grabbed my wrist and we darted into her large kitchen. After filling up her favorite kettle with hot water, she slammed it down on the stovetop and begged me for details. "What are you guys doing?"

"We're going on a date by ourselves. I never get to be alone with Niall, Isabella. I miss him." I whined at her, hopping she'd understand. Like always, though, she had to be the one with the head on her shoulders.

"And where does Liam think you're at?" She began to pour us all tea while giving me a familiar look; it's similar to the guilty look us parents give our children.

"At the cafe." I barely said it loud enough for her to hear me. She wasn't proud of me, but I knew she'd always support anything I did. We carried the mugs out to the guys and chatted with them for a bit. "Alright, well let's get out of here, Nialler."

We said our goodbyes and I promised to pick Lilli up in the morning. Niall and I got into the car and started to drive off to our destination. The air was silent and awkward until Niall broke it with uncertainty. "Are you sure you want this?"

"Of course I do, Niall. I never fell out of love with you." A smile crept onto his face as the car rolled to a stop in the hotel parking lot. He looked over at me, with his blushed cheeks and gave me a sweet kiss. I didn't want him to stop, so when he pulled away, I lightly bit his bottom lip, making him laugh under his breath.

We walked through the parking lot with the snow crunching under our feet. His hand firmly held mine, making sure I wouldn't slip and fall on the icey patches. Once inside the quiet, little hotel, Niall checked us in; the doors of the only opened to us and let us inside.

"So what now?" He teased me, poking my sides. I bit my lip, looking up at him and trying to decide how to answer his question. Before I could process it, his lips came crashing into mine and his chilly fingers started to unbutton my peacoat.

There was no one in the hotel, and if some people were, they were not roaming the hotel. We ran throught he hallways like little kids; banging into the walls and laughing as loudly as we could. We finally got to our room; I stood in front of the door, blocking Niall's way. "What are you going to do about it?"

"You don't want to know." I started to giggle and he leaned in to kiss me for the second time this night. With one hand on my hip and the other trying to blindly open the door, it took us awhile to get in.

Once we were inside, I tossed my purse on the ground and thew myself at Niall, but he held up his index finger to me. "Hold on." He grabbed the 'Do Not Disturb' sign and hung it on the door, before coming back to my reach.
