Amber's POV:
-July 18th-
"Momma, are we there yet?" Lilli chripped to me from the backseat of our car. Through the rearview mirror, I peaked back at her and Miracle, admiring how blessed I was to recieve such beautiful, little girls.
"Just about; be patient." I gripped the steering wheel and flicked my curled bangs out of my face, well on our way to the shore. Today was the day Eleanor finally became Mrs. Tomlinson and I was more than happy for her. They were getting married on the beach so it was a little of a ways away from home.
Actually, it was a little of a ways from our temporary home. Since I found out about Liam and Danielle, I didn't know what to do. I ran away like a coward to our old flat and have been there for about a month now. Niall comes and stays the night every once in awhile when we get lonely, but I've only talked to Liam on the phone since I found out.
When we got there, Niall met up with us in the parking lot. I stood up and smoothed out my orange dress and went to unbuckle Miracle from her carseat; Niall was on the other side escorting Lilli from the car. "You look stunning!" He complimented his beautiful daughter. "You all do." His eyes shot up to mine as we both smiled, sheepishly.
I put Miracle down as she tottered through tha foyer of the hotel on the shore. We ran into all of our friends who were also guests of the wedding. Isabella was the first person we saw. "Oh my gosh, hi! You all look so cute! Look at Miracle walking!"
"I know, isn't she so good? She's only been walking for a month now." My hand grazed her curly, brown hair as she gazed up at me with her perfect, blue eyes. "You look amazing!"
"Thanks Amber." Her hands felt over her slender hips in the yellow bridesmaid dress. Her hair was braided and bumped at the top while a tan flower pinned her bangs back. I noticed a new ring sparkling on her finger and asked her about it, casually. "Oh, I was going to tell you about it over coffee, but never got around to it. Eric proposed to me!"
"No way! Congrats, my dear!" I pulled her into a hug, quickley. I didn't want to sound cynical, but come on; my best friend's love life was flying high while mine was crashing and burning. I was never good at looking to the bright side when it came to love.
I then ran into Bri and Harry; they matched so well in pink. Her engagment ring glowed on her pretty, thin finger as she told us their plans. "We want to get married in the winter; probably after Christmas." Harry leaned in and kissed Bri's cheek, making my stomach fall knowing that I had that before.
Niall and Lilli was chatting with Zayn and Ali so Miracle and I decided to join them. "It was kind of a last minute thing, but we're happy and that's all that matters." Zayn leaned in to kiss Ali at the end of her speech.
"Well I'm glad for you guess; good for yous." Ali's teal, sparkly dress caught the sunlight and blinded me slightly. I greeted them cheerfully and let my face fall a bit when I saw the little ring on Ali's finger. Who wasn't happily married or engaged at this wedding? Well, that was a dumb question to ask.
I left Lilli with Isabella; she was lonely since Mickey was with Owen this weekend. Niall, Miracle, and I walked outside to find out seats that were neatly set up on the beach. "Look, it's Josh and Nicole." Niall put his hand on my lower back and led me to sit by them.
"Hi! How have you been?" Nicole reached her arms out to me to take me in. She was so sweet and I really have felt bad for not getting together with her. Miracle was such a handful and what with this Liam thing going on.
"I've been better; how have you been?" She ignored my sneaky comment and just stuck her left hand out to me. On the inside, I was rolling my eyes, but on the outside I was happy for her.
"Look it! He proposed! We're getting married next summer in Paris where we met!" She turned to Josh who was glowering at her beauty the whole time she was talking. She flipped her hair back to talk to me, hitting Josh in the face with her curls; he just laughed at her. "Bradley's here; he's the ring bearer, actually."
"Lilli's the flower girl!" We started to squeal and picture things for our children's futures. "What if they dated when they were older?"
"They would be the world's cutest couple! Brilli!" We both giggled at her couple name for our kids; that was awhile to go, but it did scare me that my girls would get hurt by a boy. At that second, I saw Liam walk by me and take a seat with Louis' parents. A few minutes later I watched Danielle stroll in looking as beautiful as ever and take a seat with Eleanor's parent's, pretending like Liam wasn't even there.
I had to get my mind off of them so complimented Nicole on her stunning choice of gold on her; it was a nice color on her. "Thanks, Amber. You always know what to say." She hugged me again before the organ started to sound.
We all stood to watch Isabella walk down the aisle, followed by Lilli, Bradley, and then lastly Eleanor. I glanced to Louis who's eyes lit up when he saw his beautiful wife-to-be. They were so lucky to find each other in this life and now I was here to watch them start the rest of their lives together.
They both proudly said 'I do' and shared a fairytale-like kiss that made my heart sore. Just as I wanted to die inside, Niall grabbed my hand and squeezed it tight. I looked at him with my mouth hanging wide open as he just continued to stare ahead at Louis and Eleanor. I think I had found my love when I was seventeen, lost it, and found it agian; could it be?
