Amber's POV:
Niall and I caught up a little bit and the conversation just rolled off our tongues. He said Gill and him were going storng, which made my heart frown a little; I don't know why. He also asked me how Liam and I were and I told him we were great. He was so good to me and this intesne craving for Niall was making me hate myself.
He smiled at me and bounced on the sofa as he bobbed his head up and down. He squinted his eyes a little and asked me, "So what are we doing for Lilli's birthday?" It was still a month away, but I was already trying to plan it. "Hopefully, it's a big one since this is the first one I've been here with her."
"I know, I want it to be big! Especially since she's turning five, too!" Niall was now sitting closer to me so I laid my legs over top of his. He let his elbows rest on my knees, but let his hands glid up and down, cuffing my calf muscles once in awhile.
"Maybe we could have it in the park? Set up a bounce house and invite all of her friends? The lads and I could even sing?" I smiled at the idea. Or was it the fact that as he rubbed my leg, he dug his nails into my skin?
"Yeah, that sounds awesome! We'll have to do that!" I grab a pad of paper and a pen as we jotted down some more ideas for the party. Without me asking, he started to rub my feet. "Well, what are we going to get her?"
"I was thinking Barbie dolls or something along the lines of that. Oh, what about one of those toy car things?" He pointed his finger in my face, trying to express his love of his idea. I considered the suggestions greatly until the perfect present came to my mind.
"A karaoke machine." I tapped my pen against the pad of paper as Niall and I stared at each other in amazement. That was so perfect for her; we both knew she was going to be quite the singer one day, just like her father. I loved every bit of Lilli that was just like Niall, even more than I loved the things about her that made her like me. I felt like the Niall that shined out of her made her the most unique person.
"That's why you're the smart one here." He started to roll up my yoga leggings to run his hands over my bare skin. I quickly recoiled and tucked my knees into my chest as much as I could, which wasn't much. He looked at me in shock as I slightly giggled at him. "Uh, what's wrong?"
"Liam hasn't been here for an entire day," I let my voice trail off thinking he would put two and two together, but he didn't. He just stared at me in confusion, waiting for me to give him a real answer. I rolled my eyes and sighed out, "My legs feel like a jungle."
He just laughed at me and I felt my face blush, but laughed along with him. I slowly released my legs and stretched them back over Niall's. "You want me to shave them for you?" I jerked my neck back in a shocking way and gave him a funny look. "I did it for you before; I can do it now."Before I knew it, I was slipping into some shorts and sitting on the toilet in the bathroom. Niall filled up a bucket of water and sat it by my feet. He grabbed my razor from the tub and started to shave my legs. I leaned back on the seat and stared down at him. As he went to rinse the shaving cream off of the razor, I ran my fingers through his hair; he looked up at me and smiled.
"Alright," He said as he tossed my razor back in the tub and grabbing the towel that was sitting next to him. "There you go. All clean." He cuffed the towel around every inch of my legs, patting them dry. The higher he got, the more his face lifted towards mine.
"Hi," I whispered to him as he raised himself closer to my face. His nose now rested on mine as I stared into his eyes. I couldn't help but think about Liam right now; I couldn't do this to him. Before I could debate with myself anymore, Niall pressed his lips to mine and my mind went empty.
He was all i could think about and that kind of scared me. I pushed him away and apologized. "I don't think this is right, Niall." He nodded and I knew he heard the lie loud and clear. I think I really did want to kiss him.
"I know. It isn't right. I'm sorry." He stared at the floor and I ran my fingers through his hair once more, making him chuckle. "How about we get some sleep?"
"Okay, that sounds good. I'm tired anyway." We waltzed out of the bathroom and into my bedroom. I went straight for my bed and pealed back the white, fluffy covers. My eyes shot up to see Niall creeping out of the room.
"Night." He quietly called to me from the doorway. I started to say something, but couldn't let the words leave my throat. "What's wrong?"
"Do you want to stay in here?" He smiled a little and cracked the door. He pulled off his tee shirt and crawled into bed next to me. As he laid down next to me, I grabbed his hand under the covers. I stared into his eyes front across the pillows; our feet paid footies by the foot of the bed.
"Good night." He said after he kissed my forehead softly. I closed my eyes to take in the moment.
"Good night." I muttered to him even though I felt disgusted with myself for doing this.
