Niall's POV:

I smirked at Amber sitting in the rocking chair while she just stared at me with confusion in her eyes. My intentions with throwing the baby shower was not to win her back; I didn't play like that. I was just simply trying to show her how much I cared for her and that I always will love her.

Mostly everyone got her clothes and diapers and gift cards to Babies 'R' Us. Grace and Finn got her a bassinet while the boys and I chipped in and got her a car seat and a changing table. Lilli even got some things out of this shower. With each ribbion she carefully pealed off of the presents, Isabella and I arranged them on a plate with string tied through two holes.

"Okay, I'm done." She sighed out as she leaned back to get comfortable. Just as she did, Isabella tied the paper plate to her head. "Oh, how cute! You all like my new hat?" She patted the colorful ribbons on top of her head and made me laugh.

Isabella and I took some pictures of everyone to send home to Amber's family. Once everyone was photographed and we cleaned up the mess, I snuck over to Amber. "Hey Love, you having a good time?"

"Yeah, I am." She tucked a loose piece of her blonde hair behind her ear. "Thank you so much. For everything." She reached out and pulled me into her; I grasped her body firmly and intended on never letting go of her. While I got lost in the moment, she stayed perfectly sane and slithered her way out of my arms, starting to get up from her chair.

"Wait," I tapped on her forearm, telling her to sit back down. "I have something else for you too." I fished around in my pocket of the small box, ignoring her ranting. When I pulled out the box and raised it to her eyes, she closed her mouth. "Ta-da." I bet back the top of the blue, velvet container and revieled to her two small charms.

"Oh my goodness, are these Love Links?" Her fist gripped her my shirt that hung on her so beautifully. While dumping the small, charms into my palm, I nodded.

"Yeah. I remembered you always saying how you wanted to add on to your bracelet, but haven't yet." She got that bracelet from her Mommom on her fourteenth birthday; every charm on that bracelet was from her, except a few. The ones that weren't from her were dedicated to her and Ryan though. "So I took the librety of getting you more."

"They are so precious, Niall. Thank you, really." The one charm was a small, pink baby carriage and the other read '#1 Mom' on it. I helped her up and escorted her over to her husband at a table.

The party ended right before dinner time, probably because we had no food here. I helped Liam pack the gifts into the car and even loaded some into my vehicle, since I needed to swing by my old flat anyway. After slamming the trunk door shut, I felt someone grip around my leg; it was Lilli.

"Daddy!" She held on tight, squeezing my leg in her small arms. I bent down and picked her up, scooping her into my arms.

"Hey Angel. Did you have fun today?"

"Yes! I had lots of fun!" I stared into her blue eyes that resembled Amber's so much. "I just wish you didn't have to go." Her peachy lips poutted and her face fell, making my heart sink. I would've suggested that I take her to my flat for the night, but that would mean taking her away from Amber on the night she got back from her mini vacation.

"I know, but Daddy will come see you tomorrow." I kissed her cheek quickly. Lilli leaped out of my arms and trugged over towards Liam, pulling on his pant leg in an innocent way.

:"Can Daddy spend the night at home again? Please?" She begged Liam for an answer. I stood there wondering why she didn't address him as 'Daddy' anymore. Was I making that much of an impact on her?

"I don't know," His eyes wandered the open space ahead of him. This question made him uncomfortable so he just brushed it off. "Why don't you ask Mommy?"

"Okay," With that, she grabbed my hand and had me run with her to Amber, who was still back at the picnic area with Nicole and Isabella. "Momma? Can Daddy spend the night at home again?"

I saw Nicole and Isabella's faces fall slightly, obviously disappointed in the way Amber's face perked up at Lilli's suggestion. My eyes locked wtih Amber's perfect, blue eyes adn I felt all of our memories flash before me; like she felt it too. I really hoped we could reconnect in the way were did when we were younger. A small smile started to grow on her face as she muttered, "Sure." Her eyes never left mine.
