Bret's POV:

I was nervous on sending the text...well..I am every morning, so today shouldn't be any different. My fingers swiftly, and delicately danced over the keyboard. She is normally in the shower by now..so I knew she would see it when she got out. I got ready in simple Vans, jeans, and a plain white tee with a jacket. I brushed my hair with my hand and that was good enough for me. Boys do have it a little easier than girls...but I wouldn't get crazy with that theory. I went down stairs and got some breakfast.

As I was pouring my cereal, my phone vibrated beside me on the kitchen table. My heart fluttered a bit even though we text each other every morning basically at the same time, every time. Weird? Not to us, it is like our morning ritual I guess. I read it and chuckled to myself..She had called me "Babycakes." I love that about her..she calls me whatever she wants..but my heart aches for her to mean it the way I want it to. She thinks it's cute, and a little friendly pet name...but I want her to be mine. She honestly doesn't know how beautiful she is. I will not lie, I like her. Maybe even love? I know that sounds far fetched...but I have known her for such a long time, and I feel like we might just be ment for each other.

I finished my cereal while cheaking all my social media apps. I checked Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Tumblr. Yes, boys have Tumblur's too. Well, Emily made me get one, and I don't argue with her..the last thing I want is her to be upset with me.

Time was ticking and I had to catch my bus..yeah...still can't drive. I'm on Emily's bus, and I love it. "Better take one of these." I said to myself as I grabbed a Cereal Bar from the cupboard. Trust me, knowing Emily, she didn't have any breakfast. After placing it in my backpack, I was off to my bus stop.
