So, I pulled into the cute, little shop on the corner. It was basically like a bakery, but it also had smoothies, coffee, tea, and milkshakes. It was all light pink inside, and was owned by an older couple. Possibly around the age of eighty. This shop has been here ever since I was a little girl. Dad would bring me here sometimes after school to just unwind before going home and doing homework right away. It was nice.
I pushed the memories out of my head knowing that no longer do my parents care about what happens to me. I walked in, and Drew was in a booth in the back corner. I walked over to him, and sat down at the other end of the table. "Hey, do you want anything? Tea? A cupcake maybe?" He asked, sipping on, what looked to be, coffee. "No, I'm good for now. Why did you want to see me?" I asked as I slipped my phone from my back pocket, and place it on the table. Same with the car keys. "I just wanted to talk for a little. I am really sorry for what I did. I honestly didn't mean to be so forceful and rude but-never mind. You wouldn't understand." He seemed mad again. Just like that his attitude completely changed, just as if he had some sort of a switch that made him this way. "Alright." That's all I could say really. I know he'll get really pissed if I ask him things about what he was going to say, so we just sat there. Complete silence.
"Do you want to do something later Emily?" He spoke with a smirk, I guess he figured that I didn't have any plans. "Actually, I can't. I have plans." I said a little sharp, and his smirk turned into this evil sort of glare. "With who?" He spoke again, "It's not with that other faggot is it?" I just looked at him. I was assuming he meant Bret, but I wanted to be sure before I completely flip shit. "Who would that be, may I ask?" I crossed my arms, and leaned back into the booth, biting my lip. "You know, that Bret kid or whoever." Yep. I'm done. "Well, sorry to ruin your 'bad ass' vibe, but yes it is with Bret. He should be calling any moment now." I grabbed my phone, and my keys and sat there. Drew sat up from his leaned position, and stared me right in the eyes. A huge chill went down my spine. "Listen, if I make plans with you, your coming along, alright?" His eyes were burning into mine, and he was basically hovering over me by now. I was praying that Bret would call, but he seems to be taking his sweet time. "We never made plans." I got up from the booth, and tried to walk out of the shop, the door was in reaching distance and-"Listen." He grabbed my arm, and drug me outside. "I don't think you understand. I'm trying to be nice here and I can't do that when you always push me away! I want to be with you Emily, but you're making it really complicated. I don't want you around Bret anymore. He's nothing but scum, and you are so much better than that. I can give you things that he could never even imagine possible! You need to be mine, Emily!" I had tears in my eyes from the pain I felt on my wrist. "Let me go! Drew! You're hurting me please!" He dropped my arm, and stared at the ground. My phone rang, and it was Bret. I answered and said that I'm coming now, and to just wait outside.
"Drew, maybe I'm not pushing you away. Maybe you're forcing me away.
