I got into my car, and locked all the doors. Drew sped away, looking pissed. Excuse him, but I'm not in the wrong here! Am I? I mean, maybe I was a little harsh on what I said, but he has pushed me around since we were in middle school. I don't know.
I checked my phone, and it was blown up with messages, and missed calls from Bret. All of them basically saying, 'Where are you?' and, 'Are you okay, please answer I'm really worried Em!'. I decided to call him, so he can hear my voice. It felt as though the phone rang forever until he finally picked up. "Fucking hell, Emily where have you been? You take the car while I'm sleeping, and then just disappear for two days? What the hell? Do you realize that since you were missing, I didn't get any sleep because I spent my time looking for you!" He was breathing heavily now, and I felt bad, but all I said was, "I'll be home" then hung up.
I got to the house, pulled the car into the garage, and walked into the house. Keys and phone in hand. "Bret! I'm home!" I yelled, and he came walking into the kitchen with hatred in his eyes. "Where were you." His voice was dark and heavy. Something that, not very often, happens. "You might want to sit down, this is going to be a long one." He looked at me with confusion, but then did what I said. I told him everything that happened in the past forty-eight hours of my disappearance. I told him about me simply wanting to get the cast off my leg, how I was taken to this weird house type thing, how I was used against my will, and how I tried to escape, but got a hickey that hurt like a bitch instead. I started crying my eyes out and he just sat there, on the kitchen floor, and held me. I feel like it was one of my weakest moments. Not even able to stand/sit without someones help. I kept screaming at him to let me go, and to just let me here, but he wouldn't listen.
That night, I had some food, not much, but enough to satisfy my stomach, and I made little scratches all over my body. I made sure to get my arms, legs, stomach, and some on my chest. Then, I cleaned everything that was used, put it in a safe little box that fits right in between my springs and my mattress, and I fell asleep.

I woke up with some blood stains on my clothing. I figured that was going to happen, I felt some of them come open when I was tossing and turning, desperately trying to fall asleep. I was just to tired do clean them up, so I just went to sleep.
I made sure Bret was asleep so I could sneak into the bathroom to shower. When I shed my clothes from my body, I looked in the full body mirror, like I normally do. It looked like I lost some weight! Yes! Feeling very happy, I slipped into the hot shower, did my hair, and cleaned out my wounds. I heard my phone go off from in my room, so I decided to hurry up and get out. I grabbed two towels like I usually do, and headed into my room. With the bloody clothes in hand, I picked up my phone. It was a text from Drew. See, I have always had his number, but we would never talk. It was one of those silly little thirteen year old dares.
Drew:
Hey Emily. Would you mind meeting me at the little coffee shop on the corner? I really need to talk to you. Don't bother bringing any money, this is on me. x
I don't want to go. I really don't want to go. Someone from the heavens take me now, please. "Ugh. Fine. I'll go." I huffed to myself and texted him back saying that I'll be there in about twenty minutes or so. I placed my phone down and got dressed. Nothing major, but I didn't look like a bum. I wore skinny jeans, VANS, and a sweater. I only brushed my hair, it naturally waves itself. I took the dirty clothes downstairs to the basement, and threw them into the washer. When I walked upstairs, Bret was awake and at the top of the staircase. "Good morning Sleeping Beauty." I teased as I brushed through his messy hair. "Hey." He mumbled and placed his head on my shoulder, giving me a hug.
"I wanna do something with you today, Em. Let me take you out to eat, to the park so we can swing, or even to a movie, I don't care I just want to spend today with you." He nuzzled into my neck, and I giggled. I pushed him off, and kissed his forehead. "I can't right now, I just want to go out alone for a while, alright? Here, how's this, call me when you are all done getting ready, and then I'll come back and get you, yeah?" He looked hesitant, but shook his head anyway. I kissed his forehead again, and then grabbed the car keys, my phone, and then I was out the door with a little 'Love you!' from inside the house.
