When He Had A Nightmare

"We did it again! Hooray!", all the cadets exclaimed as they dig in their dinner with smiles and laughs.

We just finished one of our expeditions today and none of us didn't die which was a total relief I might say. I'm sitting on my table with my friends and we've been talking about our battle back there especially when Eren was like talking about his titan powers.

"You should've seen it, (Y/N). I bashed the titans like boom! Kapow! Splat! Oooh, I feel like I wanna crush some more, ehehe", said Eren as he almost gone insane from killing titans again.

Armin apparently was able to calm him down with another serving of mushroom soup which made Sasha's eyes sparkled and went back to have another serving. I laughed and suddenly the door of the dining area was opened by the higher ups. I could see Commander Erwin, Hanji and finally Levi heichou. I smiled and placed my hand over my chin giggling like a dork. Mikasa noticed and asked, "What's up, (Y/N)? You seem to be in a good mood tonight". I gasped and turned to her saying, "Oh. Haha, I was just, ah...". I chuckled nervously and Sasha came back with another serving of bread then she answered Mikasa for me saying, "She's looking at heichou, again, Mikasa. Hehe~". Sasha winked at me which literally made me blush while Mikasa chuckled. When I looked back at Levi though, I realized he was looking at me this whole time. My blush gotten brighter as I waved at him. He blinked a few times yet he made one small smile and waved back.

*Hours later*

Levi's POV

I sighed and it's already this late (it's around 11 pm in the evening). I just got back from spending my time with (Y/N) and I feel like I want to stay with her a little bit longer but since it's late, I guess I'll see her again probably tomorrow. I opened the bedroom door and closed it behind me thinking about (Y/N). I got dressed for bed, brushed my teeth and finally we went straight to bed while turning the lights off. I put the covers up and closed my eyes slowly.

I opened my eyes and realized I'm outside which I wasn't sure why but not only that, I'm also laying down on the floor. As I got up, I was alone right in the middle of nowhere and I'm not sure what's going on.

'What the. Where am I? And, what am I doing here? I'm not suppose to be here right? Tch, I hope didn't drink anything alcoholic to make me go insane or tipsy just to walk all the way here at the middle of nowhere', I thought as I began walking just to see what's going on.

But when I walked forward the image changed like a blast of wind coming right through me which literally made me close my eyes. When I opened my eyes, I gasped with deep shock and my mouth was open. What I'm seeing here is corpses of one of of my comrades but not just any ordinary comrades, but my friends (Isabel and Farlan) and my old squad mates, (Eld Jinn, Gunther Schultz, Oluo Bozado and Petra Ral). I panted heavily and wondered why am I here in this dreadful place full of corpses that I hold dearly in the past which literally made my heart ache.

'Why? Why am I here? Why am I looking at my dead comrades and my friends? Why now? I just hope that things don't get any worse', I thought as my face fell seeing each of my friends laying around with body parts being eaten, all bloody, and lots of scars.

I could almost feel my tears that are gonna come out but then I stopped walking when I spotted a soldier that looked sort of familiar and he/she is laying down the floor full of blood. I gasped and ran towards it as the rain started pouring.

When I arrived though, I can feel my heart torn up into pieces when I saw who it was, it was (Y/N). I stepped back and her legs were gone which is eaten by a titan. Her eyes were closed and her face was a bit covered in blood. I panted and shook my head with shock.

'No...no...no! This can't be happening....this is far more worse than I thought. Why? Why am I seeing her...corspe?!', I thought as I croached down. Just then, tears were falling down on my cheek and sniffed slightly. "(Y/N)! Why?! You can't be serious, you are the only one I have!! You can't just die like this!! I...I...love you, (Y/N)!!!", I exclaimed as I touched her pale face. More tears came rolling down my cheeks and eventually my tears were dripping on (Y/N)'s precious face. I sniffed and hugged her corpse as I yelled at the dark gray sky in the top of my lungs.

My eyes were opened and I stood upright panting. I looked around and realized I'm still in bed. I blinked and there something was something on my eye. When I touched it, it was a tears. I gasped and frowned slightly shaking the thought. 'What was that? Oh, wait. It's a nightmare, but wait, where is (Y/N)? I want to see her in just one piece just in case. I want to remove that image in my head', I thought as I stood up from bed. I got of my bedroom and sprinted outside trying to find (Y/N).

(Y/N)'s POV

I yawned and poured milk on my cup because I couldn't sleep right on my dorm. 'Oh man. I wonder why I can't sleep. Don't tell me I'm hungry on my sleep just like Sasha. It was quite funny when you think about it because I caught her sleep walking here in the dining area'.

I laughed to myself and suddenly the doors were opened. I gasped and held my cup of milk. I looked to see Levi panting and he's wearing his night wear. I smiled instantly with a wave saying, "Hey, heichou! What are doing here? I didn't know you're up late tonight, hehe". He gave me a concerned look but it vanished when he gave me a relieved smile. I pondered but eventually he ran towards me and gave me a big tight hug. I gasped and hugged back and placed my cup down on the table nearby. "(Y/N). Thank Wall Maria, you're here... safe and sound", he said as he kissed my lips. My eyes widned but I returned the kiss. He let go and I replied with a bit of confusion, "Yeah, of course I'm alright. Is something bothering you, Levi? You can tell me anything". He looked at me but looked away slightly. Then, I gasped when saw a tear on his cheek. I touched his cheek and wiped the tear away which made Levi gasped. "I get the feeling something happened to you, Levi. I found a tear on your cheek", I said as I hugged him. He sighed and decided to give in by replying, "Since I found you, alright. You see I had a...nightmare". I nodded and asked, "A nightmare?". He nodded back and he felt he wanted to cry again which literally made me worried immediately.

"Levi, if you intend to cry here, I'm gonna cry too, you know?", I commented as I stroked his cheek. He gasped and I gently wiped his eyes gently. He smiled sadly and told me everything about his nightmare. I gave him a hint of concern and hugged him tight. "Aww...don't think about it, Levi. Besides, I'm here and I have my cup of milk. There's no way I will die from a titan right now because I'm in your arms tonight, right? And umm...about your friends and old squad mates of yours, I know you're still upset about that and it really hurts deep inside but you're not alone, Levi. Eren and the other cadets are with you during battle. Even, Erwin, Hanji and me! I've been by your side for months and...I love you!", I said with my heart beating like a drum. He gasped at every word I just said and finally it literally put him into ease. He kissed my forehead and said, "Thank you....thank you, (Y/N). And, I love you too". I smiled and both of us kissed which left me giggling. We let go and I drank my cup of milk while Levi is hugging from behind. Once I'm done, I decided to wash it but eventually I realized Levi didn't let go of the hug. I noticed and said, "What the. Um, heichou. I'm going to wash this cup, don't worry I'll be right back". But when I moved again, he didn't let go and just walked with me. "I'm not letting you go, (Y/N). So, let me hold you a bit longer. That's an order from your corporal", said Levi as he blew on my left ear. I blushed and my heart is beating faster when he chuckled in a sexy tone. 'Oh, sweet mother theresa in wall maria. Why do you have do you have to be so hot, Levi? Man, you are going to make me blush seriously', I thought and gulped. I gave in and head towards the kitchen to wash my cup.

When we went outside the dining area, Levi was still hugging me behind and he wasn't joking when he said that he's not letting me go. "So, um..my dorm, yeah, I have to go back. Or...do you want me to sleep with you tonight? I mean, I wanna sleep with you tonight actually which is what I was thinking during dinner time but I was a bit shy when I think about that so I didn't asked". He turned me around and kissed my lips again. 'I guess I'll take that as a yes, hehe~', I thought as I kissed back gently with a smile. When he let go though, he carried me bridal style and said, "I would love to take that offer, (Y/N). But allow me to take you there in return". I blushed yet smiled like dork nodding rapidly and both of us went to Levi's office to sleep together into each other's arms.
