When You Have A Nightmare

"(Y/N)! Let's have a sleepover tonight!! Come on, it's going to be fun!"

I turned around and saw my friends from 104th cadet corp: Sasha, Krista, Mikasa, Eren, Armin, Jean, Ymir and Connie. I smiled and waved at them. They approached me and the boys ruffled my hair while the girls gave me few high-fives and hugs from Krista and Sasha. "Sleepover? Sure, but where?", I asked. Eren pointed at a extra room and answered, "The empty room over there, we asked for permission from Hanji if we could use it for tonight and she accepted it which is totally a relief. I thought we might be in trouble again like last time". The others sighed and nodded in agreement which I might not sure what really happened last time. I nodded and Sasha grabbed my hand. "What are we waiting for? Let's go get our stuff. I can't wait!". Sasha started sprinting across the halls taking me with her while the rest of my friends followed. 

*TIME SKIP*

Hours had passed and it's already 1 o' clock in the morning. All of us fell asleep like a an hour ago and we had way too much fun. We told stories (Usually it's Armin who tells most of the stories), played our usual game of truth or dare (in the middle of our game, Eren and Jean had their usual arguments again but thankfully Mikasa was there to stop it), pillow fights but we have to do it quietly because it's pretty late and the higher ups might notice, and finally we brushed our teeth and head to bed. 

We brought our mattresses to say the least and we formed a circle and in the middle of it is our lamp which will be our source of light for the rest of the night or morning. I slept between Mikasa and Sasha, Armin slept between Eren and Jean (which I don't know why but he did say something about keeping Eren and Jean from fighting), and Krista slept between Connie and Ymir (she's hugging Krista trying to keep Connie away from her).

I shifted slightly and suddenly a something came up in my head.

I opened my eyes and saw the sky was dark with gloomy clouds. Not only that it was raining and I soon finally realized I'm outside. 'What the. Where am I? How did I get here? Weird, I thought I was in bed', I thought as I stood up from the wet ground. I looked around and it looks I'm wearing my uniform but it was covered in blood, torn up and I have slight cuts on my legs and arms. I stood in shock but that was not all when I looked around again, I saw a figure which is similar to me. My eyes widened and decided to go closer. 'Is that a soldier? I wonder if he/she is alright?', I thought as I walked closer. But then I stopped and my eyes widened again but it was something that really shocked me for the first time. It was soldier laying on the ground covered in blood, badly wounded and his leg was cut off but it this isn't any soldier that I don't see everyday, it was Levi himself. My heart fell and I could feel tears falling down in my cheeks. I shook my head and thought to myself, 'L-L-Levi?! No, no, no!!! This can't be...there's no way!'. I crouched down and started sniffing. I touched his cheek that is covered in blood and his eyes were completely closed. I panted and more tears came down to my cheeks. "Levi? Levi? Hey, please get up! I-I...I love you! Why....Why do you have to die!!!", I said while sobbing sadly and shaking him but he didn't move at all. I looked at the dark sky and it started raining hard. I stood up and take one more look on Levi's body.

I rapidly shook my head and mentally screamed on the top of my lungs, "Nooooooooooooo!!!!!!".

I opened my eyes in shock and sat upright breathing heavily. I felt something on my cheek and when I touched it, I realized I was crying on my sleep and my heart was beating so fast with fear. I looked around and realized I'm still inside the extra room with my friends. Sasha and Mikasa are still sleeping by my sides. Then, my movements took action when I stood up and ran outside the room hoping Levi is there in his office safe and sound. 

When I arrived, I didn't bother to knock at all because all I really need was Levi. I closed the door behind me gently since it's late and ran towards his bedroom. When I entered, I saw him reading a book on the bed which really put my heart into ease. My tears started flowing again and finally he noticed me standing there by the door. His eyes widened when he saw me like this and quickly ran towards me throwing his book across the room. He cupped my face and said with concern, "(Y/N)? Hey, what happened to you? What's with the tears? Tch, I swear who ever made you cry will really clean the stables for a month and ran 10 laps". I smiled and hugged him which really made him stop talking. "You're alive, Levi. I'm so glad...you're here", I said as Levi wiped my tears with his fingers gently. "Alive? Of course I'm alive, what is this about, (Y/N)? Why are crying anyway? I want to know because I don't want to see you like that", he replied as he stroked my hair. I looked up and told him everything about my dream I had. He nodded and said, "Tch, I don't think that's gonna happened. You're just having a nightmare, (Y/N). And, besides I'm here...with you. Just forget about it and don't cry, alright?". He kissed my lips softly and I cupped his face. He wiped my tears again and hugged me. "I love you, (Y/N)", he said as he kissed my forehead. I smiled and replied, "I love you too, Levi". He rubbed my back gently and asked, "Why don't you sleep with me tonight? I'm sure you need me, right?". I nodded and laid down on the bed while Levi blew the candles. The only source of light right now was the moonlight from Levi's window and I can even feel the wind going inside. Levi went to bed and pulled me closer to him. He smiled and gave me another kiss saying "Good night, (Y/N)". I closed my eyes while he fixed my hair, "Good night, Heichou". With that, both of us fell into a deep slumber and I felt relieved yet happy to be sleeping in Levi's arms.
