Winter has gone by quickly ever since Sasha went out to get some food in some district.
"Guys!! There's snow outside!"
Yep, that's what she said.
But winter aside, we might have a few days off for once just for all of us spend our holidays with our families and friends from different districts.
Besides that, Commander Erwin wasn't sure whether or not he'll plan out another expedition so he decided to let us have a few weeks off until Christmas.
-MORNING-
Clock struck at 9:30 am and the morning of Christmas Eve was only the beginning as it continues to flow like a river.
Not only its Christmas, but Levi's birthday too so we, our children and I, decided to plan him a birthday surprise breakfast as a family while he's still asleep.
Even though the breakfast is a bit late around 9.
But that's alright, the thought of us preparing a special breakfast for him counts.
"Mom! Will these do?", Leon questioned after pouring the cup of black tea.
"Just the right amount. Good, Leon", I replied to my eldest son and kissed his forehead.
"What about me, mom? Do you think dad will be able to finish this amount of fresh bread?", Isabelle questioned next after cutting slices of newly baked bread that we bought in town.
"Hehe, of course. I'm sure you're dad will able to finish it, he needs a lot of fiber and fiber is key!", I replied to my daughter and nuzzled her nose.
And then, there's my youngest son Elliot, being himself with a cute smile.
Don't worry, his adorable presence will surely make Levi happy.
After preparing, we went straight to the office and then our shared bedroom where Levi is still sleeping soundly in the fluffy white covers in the bed.
Once we stepped in, I approached with the tray on my hands while the twins are climbing the bed with Elliot.
"Psst, Levi", I whispered to him as I went to his side of the bed, "Merry birthday from us truly~".
He didn't respond and still slept soundly with a peaceful face.
I pouted and decided to kiss the top of his nose teasingly, making the kids giggle at my sweet gesture.
"Leevii~", I whispered again but this time, I'm slowing making my voice louder than before, "Breakfast is here~".
When I thought Levi will not wake up after this attempt, he started moving slowly in his sleeping form and a yawn was released from his lips.
"Err..", he groaned and started opening his eyes to see us on the bed.
His eyes widened from our sudden presence and the kids yelled, "Happy merry birthday, dad!!".
