When You and Him Had A Fight For The Second Time

We finally came back from our expedition and bad news is that a quarter of our men have died.

They may have died along with the titans but they have contributed a lot to the Survey Corps and humanity.

We're riding our carriages and finally, we reached Trost and the citizens were quite shocked to see the pile of corpses of our men.

Some were crying, in pain, mourning over their dying bodies and some are even approaching us for questions and such.

"Commander Erwin! Where's my daughter? Did she make it?", an middle-aged man asked with worry as he approached Erwin.

Commander Erwin sighed and looked devastated to answer the middle-aged man yet he couldn't help but look away and strove further.

Although, he didn't want to leave the middle-aged man unanswered.

"I'm sorry, sir. Your daughter didn't make it", said Erwin sadly and his expression was filled with sorrow, "I'm sorry".

The middle-aged man's eyes were filled with tears and his wife approached him so he can go back to the crowd and let him have his moment of tears.

I looked over to the people from left to right and they all seem gloomy and quite mad in a sense that they want a word with us.

I sighed and I turn my gaze to Levi who seems to be in a bad mood as his eyebrows were knitting together and his aura was quite intimidating.

I wasn't sure why, but when I asked him why he's like that, he shrugged and didn't look at me in the eye.

Have I done something wrong?

I don't even remember doing anything to make him avoid me but seeing him like that made me want to ask him why.

"We're here"

The twins noticed are presence and smiles were forming on their faces.

"Welcome back, mom and dad!!"

They were about to approach us but in a split second they stopped when they saw Levi walking towards the room with a blank expression on his face.

"Eh? Dad?", Leon pondered as he watched his own father go to the bedroom, "Mom, what's wrong with him? Why does he look upset?".

I didn't say anything and if I talk about it with them about how he became this way, the atmosphere would just get ticker than before.

"Um, let's not talk about it, Leon", I suggested and patted his head, "He's in a bad mood right now so I suggest you stay quiet for a while, okay? I'll take care of this".
