When He Gets Embarrassed

Sunday has arrived and thankfully, we had a day off after all the hard work we've done for the past week.

Everyone's pretty worried but I just hope that he could work together hand in hand to protect humanity from the titans.

Anyways, hours came by quickly and it's already past lunch time. I already had lunch with my own family and for some reason, Levi said he has an urgent matter with Erwin so he left me and the twins behind.

"Eh? Is dad gonna have another meeting again with Erwin and the other higher ups?", Leon asked.

"Yep, he won't be long. Commander Erwin wanted to give your dad some details regarding our battle strategy", I said and patted his head, "For the mean time, why don't you and Isabelle play for a while? I'll be getting something upstairs, okay?".

Leon nodded and said, "Okay, mom! Belle! Let's hangout with Eren and Armin!".

Isabelle's eyes sparkled upon hearing their names and she couldn't help but giggle.

"Great idea!! See you, mom", said Isabelle and hugged me.

Leon did the same thing and I can't help but find these two munchkins so adorable so I knelled down on their level and gave them a big warm hug.

"Okay, don't run off somewhere dangerous, okay? Just stay with Eren and Armin. I'm sure they don't mind having you guys around, hehe", I said and kissed their foreheads.

They nodded adorably and went to the east hall way where's the boy's dormitory is located.

I finally arrived at the office to find what I was looking for.

Armin gave me a novel that he found in the library and recommended me to read it if I had some time.

He said it was good and mesmerizing too so I might as well check it out.

I opened the bedroom door and finally, I found the book sitting next to the dressers.

I ran towards it and before I could pick it up, I heard a loud thud coming from the next room over.

'Eh? What was that? Might as well check it out'

I decided to read the book later and check out what's going on in the next room while hoping it wasn't Hanji's experiments again.

I exited the office and went to the door of the right that is a few doors away from the office.

Once I entered, I saw something that is clearly out of the ordinary and it left me breathless.

Levi, my husband and humanity's strongest, is wearing a maid outfit and must've fell off the chair while growling under his breath.

I gulped and tried not to make him more angry if he saw me but it was too late as I accidentally stepped on a creaky piece of wood that is so loud for Levi to hear.

Instead of him being angry, his face was flushed and quickly stood from the ground but almost tumbled.

"(Y/N)! Tch, thank g-goodness it's just you and not the brats", he said with embarrassment and his blushing-mess didn't seem to go away.

"Oh I see but why are you wearing the maid suit though? Honey, are you hiding something?", I asked in a teasing way.

Levi slightly glared at me but a few seconds later, he looked away and grabbed the windex and rug.

"It's not what you think (Y/N), I swear in my name", he said, still not looking at me as his ears started to turn red, "I lost a bet with Hanji and she said if I can't accept her consequences, she said she would take away my high quality cleaning supplies and YOU for a week! Seriously, once I get my hands on her I swear...".

'Eh? Me? Pfft, typical Hanji', I thought and face palmed.

I approached him slowly but as soon as he realized I was closing in, he gasped and covered himself.

"Please don't look at me longer, (Y/N)", he said in monotone and started wiping the window sills, "This isn't manly at all, it's nothing but an embarrassment".

I slightly laughed and decided to give him a hug which he didn't expect from me and his face only made him more red than before.

"Hehe, don't say that. It's only me, after all. Were you really that completely embarrassed the whole time, Levi? I could imagine Hanji's face of victory by now", I questioned and kissed his flushed cheeks.

He didn't seem to hug back at first but moments later, he wrapped his arms around me tightly and buried his face on my chest, smelling my hair and scent.

"Tch, you have no idea. The cadets already saw me wearing this and I'm completely upset when they laughed at me behind my back so I had them clean the stables for a month", he said with disappointment, "but since it's you, I don't really mind. As long as you stay by my side, alright?".

I giggled and nodded, "Alright! You can count on me, Levi".

He looked relieved from seeing my bright expression and said, "Good, just don't tease me while we're cleaning here. You know what happens when you do, right?".

He smirked and made me lean against the window sill while our faces were a few inches apart.

I nodded with a shaky smile and he gave me chaste kisses on my lips, my neck and the top of my nose.

"Oh yeah, o-one question!", I said and held me tight, "Were you trying to reach that cupboard over there, Levi? I think I heard a thud when I was inside the office and you looked like you fell down so...".

He stopped kissing me and later on, his face started turning red again just to ruin his moment having me to himself.

"Tch, s-shut up! I was trying to reach it without anyone's help so I can prove that I can reach it even though I'm this...short! Hearing you mentioning that is already embarrassing enough so please...", he said and buried his face on my chest one more time before kissing my head and proceed back to cleaning.

Sigh, oh Levi. What am I going to do with you?
